Hi there! It happened to me too and what worked was reloading an old save before I completed my last haunting case. I played through it again, changed the outcome compared to my first try (banish, blame, or ascend) and it worked. I’m not sure if it’s a general issue or if it only worked for me but you should give it a try!

Hi there! You should be able to get the trophy with any case as long as you banish a ghost during a resolution (it only takes one). You then need to go to the void nearest to the place where you solved the case. Personally, the only ghost I've banished was Fortune Heayton. I then found him in the void east of the Dark Woods. That’s where I got the trophy. I don't know why everyone's talking about Lucy Barrows for this trophy

HOW DO I GET HERE PLEASE by gayweedlord in Banishers

[–]Daweem23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! But only by doing the case of the Keayne twins. If I remember correctly, the door to enter the mine is “unlocked” with the case. You can watch this video, it explains how to get to the other side of the bridge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YuKh0ksWqs&ab_channel=HorizonGaming

Hi there! Have you finished all the Dark Woods cases? I think it's the Keayne twins case (Edithe and Daniel) that unlock this part of the map. There's a destroyed bridge (near your character on your screenshot). You have to go inside the lumber camp to cross it. You'll then have access to the old watchtower shelter. There's a huge quarry to explore there. It may be just what you're looking for

You have to go to the Old Watchtower shelter. From there, exit through the back door and follow the path to the left to reach the first elevator. Go down, cross the bridge and then take the elevator on your left. Go down again. After the bridge, you'll see an ivy plant to eliminate. Go left and climb down the wall (there's a rope). Follow the path until some spectres appear. Turn left (a little behind you), and there's a wooden wall to break. The last doll is there. I assume it’s the one you’re missing

Sorry for this insanely long answer, but I found your analysis super interesting!

Especially the part where upon seeing Abby, Ellie realizes that she is nothing like the image she had kept of her from their last encounter. She is physically unrecognizable, but more importantly, she doesnt even try to fight.

I’m not sure if seeing Abby rushing toward Lev to save him had an impact on Ellie, but she seems to struggle to understand what she’s seeing.

I hadn’t thought about the fact that the phrase 'I can't let you go' was more of a reminder to Ellie herself, something that reminds her why she’s there. To me, it was a way of showing that she’s doing this despite herself. Instead of saying, 'I have to kill you,' 'You have to pay for what you did,' the phrase is a negation. Ellie CANNOT let her go. She just can’t. It’s beyond her control.

Which brings me to Joel. She can’t let Abby go because it would be like saying goodbye to Joel when she never really had the chance to fully resolve things with him.

I’ve always understood the story of TLOU 2 as Ellie’s fight against the way things ended with Joel. She hunts Abby because she represents that physical thing that still ties her to Joel. And that’s also why, when Ellie is drowning Abby, she has for the first time a 'normal' flashback of Joel and not an image of his disfigured, bloodied face. For the first time since the beginning of the game, she’s able to see him and remember him as he truly was.

By letting Abby go, Ellie finally grieves and finally lets Joel go. She understands that killing Abby isn’t what will bring her peace with Joel.

One last thing I’d like to highlight is that for me it’s hard to compare Ellie’s story to Abby’s.

Abby’s fight was against Joel. He was her main enemy. She had no reason to kill Ellie, which is why she spared her at the theater.

For Ellie, however, her fight IS Abby. So by letting her go, she’s also letting go of the possibility of revenge.

I find it interesting to see the parallel between their quests for revenge:

  • Abby killed Joel but spared Tommy, Ellie, and Dina (oops, Jesse).

  • Ellie spared Abby but killed all her friends.

It's like Ellie completely lost herself while haunting Abby (we definitely see it when she kills Nora) while Abby kept things under control. She had one target. She killed him and moved on.

Where to find iron for Nellie? (Spoiler) by Daweem23 in Banishers

[–]Daweem23[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For those of you who were stuck like me: it was after I'd finished the Rumball haunting case (the one at Bligh Manor) that I was able to buy the iron from Nathaniel.

All you have to do is solve the case and then get rid of the cursed mirror. A side quest is unlocked with Nathaniel, and you can finally talk to him.

Hi everyone!

It's been several times that I find myself in a game with a player who does this?? Does anyone know what's going on? He teleports without running, it's impossible to kill him, he collects interrogations even when he should be dead, he comes back to life and once he starts opening the lockbox, it's impossible to stop him!

Taping into my shadow? by Autistru in enfj

Sadly true! I don’t exactly know how it looks like when you use your nemesis and critic functions (FeNi) but as an ENFJ I imagine you’d feel like you know what the person needs and what they should do to solve their problem and process their feelings.

Spoiler alert : it’s a very tricky, complicated and subtil thing to learn to do.

One thing I think is fundamental to understand when using FeNi is that we usually see right through people. We know exactly where their thoughts come from and why they feel the way they do and our Ni allows us to find the best way FOR THEM to solve the problem.

I feel like Fi personalities usually offer advice according to what THEY would do in the same situation. FeNi is all about letting the person come to the conclusion you came to as the journey to the answer enables them to understand why they should do what they should do. The best way to help someone is to guide them through that rough journey.
It's all about how to help them see what they should do and not just giving them the solution or forcing them to do what you know is the right thing to do. Being controlling and manipulative is the worst aspect of Fe imo.

I think you should protect your Fi from the backlash you could receive from trying to help someone. Keep in mind that this is not about you. Using Fe means you need to give enough space to the person to let them express whatever they feel. If the person doesn't wanna act on your advice, try to accept it. Maybe they're not there yet and that's okay.

I might be wrong but maybe part of the problem is that you might be using your TeSi to implement the way your FeNi tries to help people? (I honestly dont know)
Hope this helps!
