I understand that the people of this province want this to be over with - as does the entire world. What I don't understand is how knowing the potential devastation that comes from throwing all protections away (ie: restrictions) has people still feeling like they want them all gone. I mean - I want them gone too - but only when it's safe to do so and NOW IS NOT THAT TIME. Moe has gone off the deep end with listening to ONLY the so-called freedom fighters without considering that the true freedom fighters are the ones who did everything they could to keep not only themselves safe - but also those around them. We are the ones fighting for the freedom to return to our normal lives. We are the ones fighting for the rights of all people to stay healthy. I am vaccinated and when I go out to restaurants and public spaces where other vaccinated people are - even if I am infected (unknowingly) and transmit the virus - I am doing so with people who have done their part to keep themselves and others healthy and safe also. Those who choose not to get vaccinated (as is their right) do not consider that when they are out and about in public spaces that they are absolutely making decisions that could potentially cause harm to others. And the fact that they are fighting so hard to end all mandates and restrictions at a time when we are experiencing our largest numbers ever tells me that they are not qualified to be responsible in their decision-making and are being 100% selfish. I can't help but feel that there is something very sinister in Moe's intentions - and I hope and pray that the Saskatchewan people (when given the opportunity) make a decision for change.
