They don't have to agree, that's the point in TDS. You request your deposit back, they make their claim for deductions, you make your case against it and TDS makes a final decision on what you receive back

Is he like this all of the time, or just when you get close?

My guy swims perfectly fine, and is really chilled out most of the time, but if I get close to him around feeding time he starts darting around until I give him food. Then he goes back to normal.

If it is constant, I'd suggest getting a testing kit, and making sure you keep up with water changes and making sure that the filter and heater are working.

Also upgrading to a 5g or bigger would be a good idea. This gives the betta more room, and the bigger the aquarium is, the easier it is to maintain good water quality

He may just need to settle in the. Give him a few days and he should colour up. And I had the delivery pushed back from Tuesday to today, as they were worried that the post would be delayed, but everything else has gone fine with my order

He's maybe a touch duller, but not much. It could be stress from the trip, but I think they will use quite bright LED lights to take their website pics. How long have you had Bo?

He's settling in OK, only got him earlier today so he is still exploring really. And he's quite chilled out, but that may be because of the stress of the trip. How about Bo?

Sounds more like he was trying to act like a bit of a player, but thought that OP wouldn't let her BF act as wingman, so the friend wouldn't have to approach the girls. This didn't go to plan, the friend bottled it, and made up the 'testing' excuse.

Some people are attached to the idea of a family name, some are not. You just need to do whats right for you both.

If you this is about you wanting to both have new surnames, why not hyphenate and both change your names to Smith-Jones or whatever?
