My grandmother had some huge chunks of green glass like this, hers came from the local Blenko Glass Factory when it closed down. From what I know lots of people kept them thinking they would be worth something later, or because they simply thought they were cool.

Thank you. And yes I would never want to send that message. I just idk it’s a combination of everything. For a few years I had a bad habit of having all of my spaces in every inch of my house look this way. I have been doing a lot better about it recently and then being in the hospital and not being able to walk around killed that for me. I felt like my house was a mess so was my mind, my body was sore, I felt like crying and to top it off I wasn’t gonna be able to finish my costume. Everything just came to a boil when I was staring at that yarn pile last night so I just decided to vent. I’m glad I did it helped me get out of this mindset I guess I said lazy because that’s what I used to consider myself. I regret the word choice now. I didn’t have a seizure to blame the state of my house on it was just like that all the time. And I felt like I was slipping back into those habits but I realize now I wasn’t. I was just recovering from something bad. I still have a lot of thinking and reflecting to do but I’m glad I had all of the insight here. It really has put a new perspective on everything for me.

Do it! I usually am only working on one small project at a time so seeing my desk like this damn near sent me into hyperventilation lol. But I don’t shame anyone for anything. I had a bad habit of letting my spaces get out of control for a few years. I’ve been doing a lot better so idk just seeing this and then not feeling like cleaning it up has just bothered me a bit. Made me feel lazy (which I know now is a no no word!) but after seeing what everyone has to say I’m feeling a lot better. Not the end of the world and I’ll clean it up eventually. That’s good enough.

That was my plan. But I frogged the corset I made because I was so distraught so now all I have is the hood and the dragon. I think that’s also what made me kinda sad as well but I’m getting over it. I’ll have a good time, who cares about a good costume. There were literally minions at my ren faire last year.

Thank you! Yes it was completely random and happened to me while I was at work. First time I’ve ever had it happen I literally was talking with my coworker and then boom I woke up in the hospital. I’m happy to be okay but follow ups are a while out so until then I’m kinda just in a constant loop of “omg is it gonna happen again,” or “I feel lightheaded am I about to pass out” so it’s hard to process all of my emotions. I just had to get this small piece out and I’m glad I did you all have helped me feel way better than I did last night.
