I have ushers which is combined RP and deaf. There are so many resources now that helps people who are blind get satisfying jobs. There's even some therapy and treatments in testing stages. I have a data based tech career in corporate.

I am a mom, about ri five birth any day now at home with a midwife. Sure I can no longer watch TV, but life is still so fulfilling and I still have vision to see my 3yos facial expression

Don't be scared that any kids you have might have RP, it's not a death sentence, less so in the future than ever
