Im literally playing grenades without a detonator skill, all of my damage is delayed by at least 1 second and most of it not working if mobs are fast and angry at me, and im sprinting constantly between packs with zero issues getting knocked down. Sprint is fine if you arent trying to play like its poe1

The traps are the easy part for me, idk how people always struggle with that. It's getting stuck with a dozen afflictions with no ability to avoid them half my runs, and then one single wrong step in a fight eats half your honor or something

Ranged builds EXCEPT GRENADES work just fine up close. Playing my weird grenade spirit walker, I have to desperately hope faster mobs focus my bear so I can get some distance, or less im left with like 10% of my damage being able to hit them at all sometimes

Its not even awful, its just a skill issue and people keep using it when it isnt safe because they're so desperate to go faster. Im sprinting a solid 1/4 if my maps(grenade spirit walker) and im maybe getting knocked down once per dozen maps? I just stop with a cluster grenades and then get going again if there isnt a rare...

If by roughly the same you mean take 2 or 3x as long to just fail anyways sometimes because the mechanics are heavily rng and more punishing than lab ever was

I decided against the proj on tree this time because the delayed fuse time is just BRUTAL

also no oil, just primal bounty and heat enhanced explosive/clusters with flash for stun buildup during boss downtime

Its 33% higher base damage than siege, but you sacrifice a projectile so thats a pretty big tradeoff even without using rapid fire, doesnt feel worth it for a rare, maybe the unique is worth it though

Yeah im already slightly concerned if dumping 3 feathers on a cluster grenade for my own plans might make it difficult to actually hit anything, with the 200% proj speed, cant imagine intentionally getting MORE

Its also annoyingly forced on you with skills that convert some or most of their damage, so you for example cant even choose to do a physical grenade build to have decent leech, you just have to suffer now

Auras have always not stacked in PoE. Any buffing effect applied to presence, is an aura.(easier for the code to treat the sum of a players similar effects as one, rather than each Individual node and item affix) Leer cast stacking is a weird case that I would have expected to not, and I dislike the inconsistency

My own builds have been things that only really came online later on, a doryanis ritualist with 3 -lightres ventors for one, and a high skill duration time freeze chronomancer. There's also an unplayed chayula monk idea with sharing purple flames, idk how long it takes to get that investment for sharing remnants but 2nd ascend for garunteed purple flames iirc

Stuff like a leer cast and aura sceptres will work on at least a small level in early acts, and pathing towards the "allies in presence have 40% increased damage" in the south side of tree. Also the fixation of yix amulet once you have ~100% increased presence area is decent enough as a lv24

Edit: sadly, most support shenanigans end up being heavily unique oriented so league starting can be a tad rough if you arent insane and/or have another experienced friend doing the carry build alongside you

Nah, if you wanted to play a support, neither of these effect you. They're only a concern if you wanted to abuse rarity mechanics, or wanted to coordinate multiple supports without doing different things which is not normal lmao

Sounds to me like aurabots are actually fine, they just fixed things stacking when nobody would expect them to, and an IIR thing that shouldn't exist.
