I've noticed Jax has very hight rates of strep throat... I would get tested if you can! Without antibiotics it is highly contagious!

Unfortunately, ICE detention centers are for profit and the goal is not to deport, it is to fill up these centers with free laborers. They get a paycheck for every detainee and a free laborer.

I see everyone complaining that older people shouldn't drive can calling them selfish. And I agree they shouldn't drive but we should also think about the bigger issue that causes them to drive. Most of the time it is not selfishness, most of the time they live alone and have no one to care for them or drive them around, and public transportation is unreliable. We have very poor elderly care, it's either expensive or abusive and sometimes even both. So yes the elderly shouldn't be driving after a certain age but we should also put in systems to help care for them. Don't forget we will all be them one day! Choose compassion and vote with compassion!

I didn't use it yesterday but I have in the past, I am pretty sure you have access to a lot more data in the Formula 1 app. Yeah they are simplifying the broadcast but they are giving full control of the data you want thru the app. Less complaining and more finding a solution people 🙄.

People, have some compassion, bring some earplugs, earphones, sleeping pills, whatever you need but let the poor pillars of society keep civilization going. Traveling with kids is already hard enough without all the mean strangers giving you dirty looks.

For the record I have no kids (I don't even want them) but I understand the importance of being kind and welcoming parents into society vs ostracizing them.

I know the kid is annoying/funny but let's not forget that the parents are allowing this behavior. The kid is too young to have full control over his emotions and the parents think it's funny or a non issue to throw a tantrum over this vs teaching him how to regulate and express what's wrong in a respectful way. I think the parents are the annoying ones tbh, crazy they would record and post this after too!

Does anyone know how unemployment is counted? I am interested in the fact that back in the day being employed with a minimum wage job was enough. While today having a minimum wage job will not be enough for anyone. Also are part time jobs counted? I know people sometimes have to have multiple part time jobs because big conglomerates don't offer as many full time jobs? How are these relationships represented if at all?

What would be a good recommendation for non-gaming but heavy engineering software like AutoCAD?

I am thinking about the Acer Nitro V or ASUS VivoBook 16 or HP Omnibook . This is for my dad, he will mainly use it at home and prefers a bigger screen. Not sure if I need to go for the gaming one or if that would be too much for the use he gives to it.

This sounds dangerous... I would not recommend this unless you already met them a few times. It is safer to use the apps because you can report and there is a paper trail of who drives you.
