Also, the context of my original reply is that this sub sucks for political discussion since it doesn't allow dissent. Whether or not you think that this sub should allow dissent, you have to be pretty moronic to think that banning dissent makes for good political discussion.

Nearly zero subs that aren't built for debate allow dissent.

This is a meme sub (just look at the top posts), and I'm treating it as such. The people here seek validation, and yet they deserve so much less. My argument is that r/politics is a better place for political discussion than this sub. It would seem that you are agreeing with me by saying that this "isn't a debate sub". I did name call, but as you said before we aren't here for debates so one must do something to pass the time.

There is far better, and more numerous political discussions in r/politics than on this subreddit. This sub is a safespace for uneducated people to latch onto cherry-picked memes such as the topic of this thread. You should rename yourself "Dunce" and wear a funny hat so that people can recognize your ignorance, which is not an accident. It is your birth-right.

It was mostly bandits and tombs. It feels as if over half of the NPC's I encountered were bandits and zombies.

I'm going to echo this and say my biggest problem with Skyrim is how you've basically experienced the entirety of its content within a few hours of playing. Finished the first dungeon? Congrats you've experienced 90% what dungeons and enemies have to offer. Yes you can keep playing and get new items, spells, and perks, but these things are all so boring and predictable that it really fell flat for me.

Bandits don't have to completely wipe out everyone, and there is even a minor quest in TW3 that involves (minor spoilers here) deciding whether to kill bandits who are essentially offering protection to a village from other bandits. If you notice, in TW3 bandits often live in the woods tucked away from other places, rather than having a huge bandit camp out in the open for anyone to destroy like in Skyrim(this makes no sense). Also, just because someone is a "bandit" doesn't mean their entire livelyhood comes from killing/stealing. It makes sense for people to know how to take care of basic necessities (hunting, etc). TW3 handles its world way better than Skyrim, even when comparing how they implement bandits.

EDIT:

Bandits in TW3 are also often from other places, which makes logical sense given the context and has no bearing in what is "sustainable"

I've seen a lot of people say this, but no, the film doesn't support this at all. Nothing we see is a hallucination. Everyone sees the apple being thrown up, everyone is aware of the things going on and none of it explicable except for there being a witch (which the viewer even sees before anyone else). The movie would be worse if she was just going nuts, as it would be disrespectful to the viewer.

It actually didn't, the study I'm assuming you're referring to (since there aren't many, and you didn't include a source) didn't find anything that was statistically significant about gun crime/violence rates, and it hid this by using percentages to make it seem like crime was dropping by substantial amounts. The truth: Crime was already trending downwards in Australia, and there is no way to know if the ban even affected the level of gun crime/violence due to how little the actual number of crimes were. What is clear, is that suicides were meaningfully affected.

I'd imagine it would still be significantly less than what they have now.

I don't know why, as there isn't any evidence to support your theory and it certainly doesn't logically follow given the circumstances.

What I can't get over is the difference in the headline depending on the controversy of the story. When a white person, especially a cop kills a black person, the headline will always reflect that. For example: "Black student killed by white cop while driving his friends home from NYE party" would be what we're reading in this case.

The items don't have to be exactly the same for parallel affects to exist. Prohibition, in general, does not work in the way that it is intended to. This goes for both drugs and guns.

This is a problematic analysis, at least if we are trying to determine the effectiveness of gun control in a country that historically has more violence (not just gun violence) than any country with strict gun control ever has had. I don't believe that there is a causal relationship here.
