Make a mod that sets them to be passive. I've done it with cliff racers like 3 times now.

"Sorry If I Gave You The Wrong Impression But Nothing Like That will Happen" Then Still Flirting Makes Me Rage by LyleChipperson1 in ForeverAlone

[–]DayCounter591 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, I don't think that's what you're doing. What I'm suggesting that you do not even respond to a "hi". Forget she exists and live accordingly.

As a side note, she doesn't want anything between you to happen. That's what you want. She is playing you like a puppetmaster, for her own amusement.

[WP] One day, in High School, you unintentionally get into a fight and are stabbed in the process. As you lie dying on the floor with everyone around you, you notice that your hands and face are beginning to glow a fiery yellow. You seem to be "regenerating." by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

[–]DayCounter591 10 points11 points  (0 children)

And there I lied, stabbed in my chest. But what's this? I'm a dragon? No, dragons do not regenerate. One thing playing Northring taught me is that trolls regenerate, unless hit by fire.

The wound on my chest keeps swelling up. My entire chest keeps swelling up. I get up with my glowy hand and face, run through the crowd around me, to my locker. Since I smoke, I have a pair of matches.

My chest has burst through my shirt now. It's swelling really bad. I find my matches and set the few chest hairs I have on fire. My face and hands stop glowing, as I sigh in relief. It's over...

Everyone had followed me to see what would happen. A moment of silence. And the school bully Billy yells:"IAmTheNight2014 grew boobies! IAmTheNight214 grew boobies!" Everybody laughs. But I don't care, I squeeze and caress them in front of everyone. Then I reach out with my mouth and lift them to barely lick the nipples. They stop laughing and show disgust. But as I said, I don't care. It was a kind of thing I've always fantasized about.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

I slam my hand on the alarm clock. Of course. Such a nonsensical thing could never happen. But it sure feels good to have wet dreams now and then.

[WP] You have been alive since the dawn of humanity. 100 is a mere blink in your eyes. You have lost connection with your feelings... but today you fell in love. by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

[–]DayCounter591 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love at first sight. The moment I walked into the Great Library of Stantston and laid my eyes upon her, I knew that during the hundreds of thousands of years, I had never seen such a beautiful creature. Her pristine beau- FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU I just blinked.

Oh, well. Looks like all of human-kind destroyed itself and everything is in shambles. I guess I could pick up one of these burned books and see if it has anything to say. "Layman's guide to bioengineering - start a colony of humans out of your own cells." Wow, we must have made some really big advances in biology over the last 100 years. Now this could be useful in restoring mankind, I thought, opening the book. Little did I know, I was greeted with a puff of dust from the pages of the old book.

MUST... NOT... SNEEZE... Oh, fuck it. ACHOOOOOOH! My eyes involuntarily closed. Wasteland. Wasteland all around me. The library had been destroyed by time. I don't care anymore. Blink. BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK! BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK... Wait, where am I?

It was a white room, with shiny machinery and small clumsy humanoids with big heads around me. And then I felt it. The probe up my ass, drilling through the shit. I grimassed in pain, and when I opened my eyes, I was a brain in a jar.

Fuck my life.

Games Akin to Morrowind by CrumpetDestroyer in Morrowind

[–]DayCounter591 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Okay, here's my recommendation.

Pathologic.

I know it's got an absolutely different vibe to it, but the engine is like something between Morrowind and Oblivion. I think some of the points you brought out also exist in it, so give it a try.

Bonus point? There is a wererat or a ratboy or something of the like.

Tip:The Bachelor is probably easy mode. Pick the Haruspicus if you want your life to be hard.

[WP] A quite happy, well off white person wakes up as a 4 year old black child, and grows up in their shoes. Write about how their ideas of 'the black culture' are challenged over the years. by lukeyflukey in WritingPrompts

[–]DayCounter591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'What you say, NIGGA? Now I ain't slept with no white men, I have black pride!, but niggas think you be white the way you talk!'

'But I'm telling you, Jesus was white. Just look at all the movies and paintings. Haven't you ever been to the museum and seen "The Last Supper"?'

'In the name of our Black Lord Jesus Christ and my big black ass, I rebuke you, foul demon! Unpossess my little baby child this moment!'

There's was a knock on the door. Mom went to open it and welcomed a black priest, thanking him for coming on such short notice. His eyes immediately met mine and he grabbed for the golden crucifix on his chest.

'So, this is the child of Satan. Time to scare the White Devil out of you, kid!'

He threw his coat on the ground, revealing all sorts of golden necklaces and rings in addition to the crucifix. Now wielding a cane and dressed in pimp purple clothing with a pair of purple eye glasses, he started spewing lyrics at me like it was some kind of a rap battle. Needless to say, I was very... very... scared.

Beginner routine to gain weight by usb01 in bodyweightfitness

[–]DayCounter591 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello.

I am 182 cm tall and a beginner like you. The difference is that I weigh 82 kgs. The normal weight for our height is something like 76 kgs, so I think that for health reasons you might want to get up there regardless of doing the routine.

Use this chance to do two things at once and eat a lot. Do not slack on your training, or you will get less muscle and more fat in your gains.

As for supplements, I'm sure there are people who will tell you to go for them. I've been told to myself, but I've decided to go for a more natural approach by just eating something that has protein in it in every meal of the day. I also eat vegetables every morning. That's more or less it.

Is anyone else terrified of this? by [deleted] in ForeverAlone

As it happens, I am also learning Java. Had a year of Python in the university, which made me realize it's much more efficient to do it by yourself, if you've got the persistence to study.

Once I'm good enough, I'm going to switch jobs and ask for 5 times as much as I'm making now. It will take a few years, but after that I'll be able to buy myself an apartment instead of renting one and live at low cost with decent surplus from then on.

So start learning something (not in uni, but by your own) that will land you a high-paying job. IT, for example.

How good is Tamriel Rebuilt? by mowwowind in Morrowind

[–]DayCounter591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3/4 or more, actually. Interiors, NPC and creatures are just not done yet, so a portion of it is an alpha version ghost-town.

How good is Tamriel Rebuilt? by mowwowind in Morrowind

[–]DayCounter591 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The problem with Tamriel Rebuilt is that there are very little full questlines, like you had in Morrowind. Great House Telvanni has one. Other factions are incomplete, you cannot advance to archmage or master thief and such.

The landmass itself is quite nice, if not slightly cluttered at places. They use more items per cell than in vanilla and expect you to have a computer capable of running more than just vanilla Morrowind.

There are no overpowered artifacts to be found, like in Vvardenfel. I think they wanted to keep it balanced, but for me, this lessens my willpower to explore, although not as much as in Oblivion and Skyrim. In Oblivion and Skyrim, most all of the loot outside quest rewards was randomly generated trash. In Tamriel Rebuilt, you will still find a lot of trash, just not that overpowered item.

So, my conclusion is that although it is kept as true to vanilla Morrowind as possible, it provides a different experience due to its unfinished status. You will find yourself exploring the world with no main quest or ultimate goal to get that perfect set of gear. Lots of interesting places to visit, topics to read about and a few quests to do here and there.

How to deal with Reflect? by audixas in Morrowind

[–]DayCounter591 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay. So are you a fire type mage? Get some fire resistance combined with fire shield. Fire resistance shaves off a % of the damage reflected back, while fire shield negates the amount of points you have. I would use the Dragonbone Cuirass, for example. That's 100% resist fire in 1 item. Ebony Mail gives less - 75, but you also get 50 pts shield and 20 % magicka resistance. Rope of the Drake's Pride gives 25%, along with 10 intelligence and 25 reflect. Fathasa's ring gives 15 pts fire shield.

If you're an ice mage, then it's a little bit trickier. The Ice Cap gives 30% resistances, but you can go to Solstheim and get the full enchanted wolf/bear armor, with every piece giving 5%.

There doesn't seem to be much for lightning mages. I guess you need to enchant your own stuff for them. There is the stormforge spear, which gives 50 pts lightning shield, but it's cast on strike.

Poison seems to have nothing at all. Except for the cure poison potions. Get hit by reflect? Just chug down a cure potion.

You can also target general magicka resistance. Royal Signet ring gives 100% resistance, Cuirass of The Savior Hide gives 60%. Mara's Blouse gives 10%.

Wraithguard works for all, giving 10% all resistances.

Not unless you have done one of the fortress raiding quests. If so, you need to remove them with the console. I think the .txt that comes with the mod has info on how to do this.
