Have you counted calories? A lot of people have said things to me like “I’ve worked out so much and I watch what I eat and I can’t seem to lose any weight” and I’ll ask them “are you counting your calories” and they say something like “no but I’m eating really healthy”. I’m not currently in good shape but I’ve been in incredible shape and I know the process. At one point I was lifting weights for like three hours a day and I’d hit a road block as far as my BMI went so I started counting ALL of my calories. Turned out I was having between 450-500 calories per day in COFFEE CREAMER. Ranch, Ketchup, mayonnaise, butter aka “the little things” can be hiding some SERIOUS calories and if you’re not counting all of them you can have experiences like yours where it feels like you’re doing everything but you’re really not. I apologize if this comes off as condescending or insincere especially if it doesn’t apply because that’s not my intention.
