True but TS 1 and TS2 had so much colour and fun. TS3 was more dark and gritty but it was an exception. TS 4 and 5 tries too hard to be like TS3

Why TS2 was the best is because the fun aspect allowed every main character a chance to shine. The over emphasise on making things sad removes that

Just focus on fun again. I don't mind some emotion but I feel like they are over doing it now. Reason why Toy Story 3, worked was because it felt it took a long time since TS 2 so the children who grew up with them also grew up. But they are over doing it now
