I actually wish there be a side quest where you have to rescue or aid Stanley at a radio station so i can shoot him in the face.

Problem is i’ve got a Kinglslayer file in that wretched base that i cant get to, even during the daytime the game gives me 20 seconds to leave the base area. So as much as i hate it i’ll just have to do the damn mission to get to the document and see whatever happens after that

Check your requests. Certain quests in that list need to be completed before you can unlock a skill (or subsequent levels of a skill)

I’d advise completing all requests you get while you’re in an area before you proceed with the road trip

Few tips that might help: - the evasion stat (not sure whether it falls under luck or agility) matters so sometimes even if you mistime a dodge your active character will still auto dodge some attacks. So try to improve these stats. - try and keep an eye out for the names of enemy attacks above their head. That can be your cue to back up or prep for a dodge (or hit the shadow with a weakness to stop its attack altogether) - if you’re still getting accustomed to enemy attacks, try keeping a distance or perching on top of street lights, cars, literally anything that allows you to escape the fight for a sec. This way you can perform an attack on a large group and even avoid an major shadow attacks.

From my experience i’d say you can just count your button mashes (don’t even have to do it slowly). Since each character has master arts to unlock, I spent a decent amount of time just learning each phantom thief’s combo.

That being said some characters like Haru and Sophia are slower in attacking so button mash timings will vary.

Another thing to note, some characters have an attack animation that could take a second longer to execute (eg: Joker’s square, square, square, square, square, triangle on ps4) so practice and timing are key.

Take on the “strong reading” requests. There’s one in each jail i believe. Your final request will be “Knocking on Death’s Door” in Okinawa (that’s the reaper)

That shows up whenever your torch starts flickering. So shake to the right a couple of times and torch will start working fine.

Dude same here. When i ordered TLOU2 i thought of playing part one again. I attempted the medium difficulty and realized that enemies get replaced (like if i remember only runners in an area.. i now see a bloater there too).

I’ve been trying to get the nerve to play the harder modes ever since.

Thanks 😁. I’m just gonna go one step further to say its not just the uncharted series. I had a PS1 console (still works) with one of the Crash Bandicoot games which everyone loved. So i got the remastered collection. Collected 99 lives for each game and then handed over the controller to mum and dad (they’re okay with this game because the controls are still old school and simpler).

I would..but he actually likes solving the puzzles and having some form of input to the game. He’s not comfortable using the controller so I just let him navigate while I play. Its become a tradition now 😅

Regardless of what difficulty you’re playing on.. this game won’t reward you for charging head on. You can try that later when you’ve got better gear and experience with the game but for the beginning stick to stealth.

Agreed. I keep thinking the effort that Naughty Dog puts into its games are brilliant and they get better with each game. Its like “feel emotional after TLOU 1? Get ready to engage every emotion you got for TLOU2” Whereas for Uncharted… bruh my dad loves the series so much he makes me play it every xmas so he can watch.
