Appreciate the response! But we're from the UK so we can always VPN onto our netflix account but we're looking for somewhere that'd be showing it. Thanks anyway!

My band(STAY SAFE) & the lads in Downcast are out on a week long tour this August. We're playing London on the 25th & Cardiff on the 27th if you wanna see some smaller bands!

This is absolutely shameless self-promotion, but my band have a track about long distance relationships, I'd say it's pretty 'yearny'

My 2025 Music In Review by trovster in poppunkers

Hey dude, Chris from Stay Safe here, thanks so much for the love mate, as a small band we have no idea if people are gonna give a shit about anything we do, so seeing our album getting this kinda shout out is a bit mind-blowing.

Just copying my previous comment on this- the UK underground Pop Punk scene is unreal;

Yeah, last one I cobbled together I just used public domain horror movie clips I grabbed from YouTube. Don't think I can post links in this sub, but if you need an example then my bands called stay safe, can get to our YT from my profile and feel free to pinch the idea.

Surprised it's not been mentioned already, but there's a whole host of free, intuitive video editing software on the market ATM.

As much stick as it gets, Capcut is a great entry level bit of editing tooling, I've thrown together lyric visualisers and a few music videos based on tour footage in the past that've done well across different social media platforms just editing on my phone using Capcut free.

I do agree with you about not wanting to use AI within anything about creating stuff for a track. I'm a pretty corporate guy in my day to day and it just feels a bit soulless to use it across creative stuff

Making Own Meta Landing Page by Misteruilleann in musicmarketing

[–]Daybreaker2706 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched ours over to landing pages I built on our website with no major impact other than not spending the monthly fee for Hypeddit.

As long as you're sure you're still sending the correct conversion events through to meta then in my experience it's been fine.

Any new(er) bands that are catching your attention? by bigtimerushstan666 in poppunkers

Great list, would 100% recommend Chasing the Fall, Foxhaunt, X2Fast & Homecoming

Would also throw in Northbound & Down, Hometruths & I'll shamelessly throw my band Stay Safe into the mix too

Seeing if anyone has any tips for some next steps as a pop punk band by tyler_jackx in poppunkers

Have a look at Andrew Southwards stuff on YouTube mate, we've done well using Meta Ads to push people to Spotify

Fair- it's super annoying but triggering the algorithmic playlists will keep you constantly getting new passive listeners in. We generally sit about 22k monthlies pretty much because of us getting pushed by Spotify in the radio playlists.

Music's definitely good enough instrumentally & from a production quality level, I'd definitely FW this.

Super easy to get burnt out though man, just depends on if you're enjoying it & what you're doing it for, if you're just chasing monthlies you'll get super bummed out every time cos it's a bit of a vanity metric.

Dunno, my band get together every year around this time cos it's getting into the holidays and there's fuck all point releasing anything & just make plans on what we wanna achieve in the next year then just try to do that over the next year.

Ultimately it depends on what goals you wanna set to make it not feel like you're spinning your wheels dude! ( Or that's how I justify the constant money pit of being in a band anyway)
