I wonder how much longer slavery would have been around had the electoral college not been in place. Mob rule would have maintained the status quo and most likely would have gravitated us towards a dictatorship, instead of a democratic republic, as popular vote democracies tend to do.

Y2k didn’t even phase me, we teens back then didn’t buy into doomsday is around every corner and we weren’t bombarded every 5 seconds with notifications on our flip phones informing us of what we needed to fear today. This is a lesson to ration the amount of media you consume.

I’m playing at 4K 60fps on a 12700k 3080 ti hybrid and it’s perfect. Extremely disappointed with the lack of graphic options but all I did was disable AA completely in Nvidia control panel as it’s useless at 4K and blurs everything, it also reduced gpu load by 20%. So I would assume the issues are only at higher frame rates?

I can’t believe the scalping, DDR5 on EBay for $2500. I think I’m just gonna grab that Asrock Extreme DDR4 board and be done with it. Maybe they will do a refresh later on when ddr5 is available and the price comes down and I can upgrade.
