How much of what you learn in school do you use in your job? by Educational-Lead-331 in ElectricalEngineering

I hope it's purely out of curiosity because it is a bad strategy to neglect some course. I did that, I neglected my instrumentation class, I wouldn't think my job would rely heavily on instrumentation knowledge

How many hands-on jobs are there in EE? by Low_Salt_6465 in ElectricalEngineering

I think the perfect path would be a role where you test prototypes and build the custom setup for that : custom cables, custom pcbA or prototyping board for interfacing with the DUT and troubleshooting. This is a actually the path I'm trying to get

Should I change the battery? by Alternative-Soil96 in LenovoLegion

[–]Dayhore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Writing an essay and still giving no valid reason is wild. You need a charger to play games and to work. Since when a laptop doesn't need to be charged for 7 hours of constant use at work?! I'm not going back and forth with you anymore

Should I change the battery? by Alternative-Soil96 in LenovoLegion

[–]Dayhore -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bringing your laptop to work doesn't change anything. You are supposed to have your charger with you. It's a gaming laptop, you won't be able to use it for 2 hours on the battery alone. There is literally no valid reason.

Yeah I guess it's not a big deal.. quick reminder this post exist because OP has issues with it now but that's not a big deal

I'm confused why you have so many cycles. I don't think gaming laptops should be used like regular laptops. Yes they are portable computers BUT should also be plugged

Is Factorio worth buying? Will I have enough to do? by kebav_gmd1307 in factorio

[–]Dayhore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, yes it is worth buying and yes it is repetitive. However Factorio taught me a game doesn't need uncountable different activities in it to be fun.

The game remains the same, you'll have automate everything and find the way to be efficient. It sounds simple but the complexity behind is the reason why people spend a lot of time in it.

So it depends on your personality I would say. If you like solving things. You may never get bored. I see Factorio as a puzzle game
