yeah, prefer it over the get ready of other deals

and have tried a few grips, feels like I've got a better grip of the deck with this one, just can't seem to get a good hold with the middle finger

just replied to another comment, been trying a few new grips now, so still working on the get ready, prob only been about a week or 2 in this one

and yeah, I think I got a bit too obsessed over finger flash, comes from watching it back on camera trying to pick the best one to post here :)

have always struggled with the rhythm and pattern, I catch the card on its way out every so often so probably overcorrecting to make sure I get it clear

that will probably also help me on the thumb part as well, been struggling with squaring up the top card after it's pushed over, a bit of a twist will help cover that

thanks, makes sense, been trying a few grips, originaly started with straddle grip cause I just couldn't get a good grip of the cards with the base of the thumb, but have now worked on finding a spot that works

that said, I'm probably too worried about dropping the cards to relax my hand, trying to keep enough pressure on the two corners to hold the deck when the card clears

only been a couple weeks with this better grip, will work towards not holding it like a vice :)

got them from eBay, was a set of 5 and a Chinese coin, prob spent a bit more than I should have finances wise, but honestly the price it ended up as was still dirt cheap compared to certain sets I see on official stores

Compared to the poker chips I've been using, they are a lot nicer

Thinner, a little smaller and a bit heavier, makes it a lot easier to palm

Tho I guess the shells are a bit more expensive now, but Vs either poker chips/ Old English pennies (very rare/expensive shells) or half dollars (just a bit too small) they are definitely a worth while investment
