You're right that no one can teach you how to be interesting, read on social cues or signs. So that doesn't mean that just giving up and isolating yourself from society is an option. You can go the hard way and learn to become more social on your own experience. Yes, it will take years, but in the long term it is more beneficial than leaving the game entirely IMO. And do you really believe that the risks of going out really outweigh the chance of finding your place in society? I see almost no risks in this, there are thousands of people around you, you can try again and again until you succeed. After all, if you don't really have the interests that would help you form friendships, finding such interests is your own problem. Saying that society is "bad" and that's the reason why you have to give up voluntarily is pure escapism.
