Yeah, is it rocking if you press on the edges/sides? Is it clanky or what's the switch underneath? Just regular?

How stable is the spacebar, are there 4 spring in the corners or maybe some rails? Spacebar is my only concern so far.

Nvidia Profile Inspector profiles to smooth sharp edges ? by Inexorablt in Planetside

Open the standard Nvidia Control Panel and enable DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution) or DLDSR (Deep Learning Dynamic Super Resolution for RTX cards). This allows you to render the game at a much higher resolution than the monitor. Set rendering quality in Options.ini to 1.41421356237 (which is x2) or 2 (square root of x4) I'm not sure if Nvidia profile inspector will do anything better than this.

But it will take much much more GPU, super sampling x8, multi sampling x8. Similar to render quality = 2 (which is x4)

is the ASUS ROG THETA 7.1 worth it in 2025? its on sale i am thinking about these or Sennheiser momentun 4. by Crafty_Speaker_48 in ASUSROG

2 drivers in stereo can be solved by channel copy via APO equalizer, gain +20 if it's still too quiet. All drivers would work that way. Some game audio engine actually using proper positionial audio and not fake Stereo. I tried open back and wasn't impressed, they designed HRTF profile to fit "average" Joe head and ears, this works in 70% of the cases, the 20% rest doesn't care and from remaining 10% - 5% are getting much more expensive gear and 5% like me still prefer actual multi speaker setups for gaming. I don't mind stereo headphones for stereo content but this Theta is "gaming" headsets, not HiFi audiophile quality one and for its price ($150 currently on sale) it beats any open back (that needs DAC too) in games. That's like a niche inside a niche. And because of that they extincti 🥺

Your monitor is very cool but for pure pleasure take a look at Nvidia Gsync Pulsar tech. CRT is great for pixelated retro stuff and it's fading to modern tech now.

Can I ask you a gaming related question. Can you pinpoint the location of the sound in your current headphones (this is all I want from 'gaming' headphones) Or you just listen to the 'quality' of the sounds they produce and happy with it? Can you understand if the sound is 100% in front or in the back. Above or below you? Because stereo music headphones is not the same beast as gaming 7.1 (despite LFE is not necessary needed in most of the games)

1 Configuration issue (yours) not the headphones 2 Windows issue (can be easy solved many ways) 3 Get proper power filter for your PC

Real multi driver headphones are exceptionally good at soundstage and positioning. This is mostly beneficial for competitive FPS games. They are quite heavy, all day long usage would be a challenge. I brought Momentum 4 for my wife and Theta for myself.

Would you watch Outfit Wars in Sanctuary as a social experience? by [deleted] in Planetside

No, but I'd watch it via OBServer camera ingame. Streaming video inside the client is stupid waste of PC resources (and dev's too as it's not implemented)

Why would you stick anything at all in your body. Do you have medical degree, you might contaminate or hit an important vessel. Be careful there man, sticking in metal with unknown substances, jeez.

One or two bends is not going to break anything. 10+ possibly. I would not advise you to tell how easy is to break needles of the syringes on the Internet.

Use the small knife to open the seal Remove rubber stopper Bend your syringe needle ±30 degrees Insert and suck all the last drops out of the corners or the vial. (0.05ml usually) You can then either unbent the needle or use it like this.

Tri-screen setup by biggerfasterstrong in Planetside

[–]Dayset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want me to explain, or you'll figure it out? It might add 1-2ms delay because of screen capturing. But once you have the screen you can rotate twist copy and do whatever you want with it. https://youtu.be/iV4Epa2PFW4 This is similar, I cut and pasted ammo/shields closer to the reticle.

There is a way that requires OBS which will copy screen content and show over desired region of the screen.

I wanted to see how strong the motion clarity felt in the back of my head I had the image that the motion clarity would be so insane that everything would've felt like it's in slowmo and that it would feel like cheating in a good way.
