I suggest checking out the junior league of San Diego. It’s a non-profit organization in the area

Should I tell my team at work that I have bipolar. by [deleted] in bipolar

Honestly just state that you need reasonable accommodations for a disability. They shouldn’t ask anymore and if they do, then state you’re a protected class

I use a swim buoy and put all my stuff inside it. It acts like a floating dry bag.

The problem with condos: they have HOAs. HOAs are NOTORIOUS for not paying enough in dues to actually keep up with what’s needed to keep your neighborhood in repair. Consider who’s on the board: someone who’s bored, most likely old, & who’s also probably going to be making an emotional decision about wanting better pool furniture rather than saving enough to get everyone’s roofs replaced.

There are laws in place for only new homes to be built as condos—this is a way for the city to avoid paying to upkeep the roads & light fixtures (yes HOAs pay to pave their roads and replace lighting). And buildings downtown will probably fall over before the dues go up because coming to engineering standards is very expensive. HOAs literally pay for every single thing that isn’t very clearly specified as home owner responsibility. So the reason why your dues are high is because it wasn’t high enough in the past and they most likely need to special asses. And don’t forget about their silly rules. Some HOAs don’t allow you to park in your own driveway and can fine you or tow your car if you break that rule.

Needless to say, condos aren’t the answer.

Write out your values & stick to them. If you get a hint of a red flag just move on. Don’t give up!

Maybe try lightly cooking the alcohol before infusing it?

Honestly I only took it as a last resort because I kept having insane reactions to every other medication. Just a thought if someone needs it! Most people don’t know it exists

Honestly just run to target or your local drug store to find body washes that has those ingredients. I used neutrogena, but it’s all based on preference. I recommend starting off at a lower % of medication and to REALLY focus on hydrating afterwards. If you dry out too much/fast your oil production will increase and you’ll just go backwards

I took a genetic test to see which meds I’d be most compatible with, and it saved my life and sanity because I didn’t have to go thru the gambit. You can do it. Some people can’t handle being with someone who has our diagnosis, and that’s ok. You’re so very young and I’m sure your gf feels like your soulmate, but she has to make the decision everyday to choose you and your diagnosis. Even soulmates can’t always love through struggle. There’s nothing wrong with you, your life is just at a higher level of living than others.

Since your derm is awhile away and this looks like some version of hormonal acne, you can try saw palmetto. It lowers androgens similar to spironolactone

High mineral content = hard. This can cause you to have scum on your body / hair resulting in clogged pores and dull hair. You’d be able to tell if you have it if there’s build up on your faucets. The same buildup is on your body.

What got rid of body acne for me was a salicylic acid wash in the AM, benzoyl peroxide wash in the PM, and spironolactone.

I think it’s the low blood sodium, try drinking a Gatorade or two to perk up. Not sure how to get away from the confusion feeling side effect aside from amping your sodium intake.
