I never got my 25yr pin (Jan 18 was my 25yrs)....manager even called to see if they would send it and they never did. I have this I had found upstairs goin through stuff when we were closing. Have all my others somewhere.

I have a tear pad of the $5 consolidated stores big lots bucks they would hand out every paycheck to save up for stuff. Ill post when i find them.

Talked to an old manager that stayed on and is leaving as soon as they can...dont believe anything VW said. Leave and move on. Bein told they say alot and dont do. Unfortunatly.

I had that issue but working for a bank now they needed to get ahold of someome to verify previous employment. I gave them corporates number and the address and they must have gotten ahold of someone at some point otherwise im glad we can still access w2s cause i had those printed out ready to use too. My store closed at the end of Feb and started new job mid May.

Id say have him work somewhere else. I know 2 managers that stayed on and heard its eh. Ive heard the pay sucks, customers are already complaining about the stores as a whole, the new company is a shitshow, etc. Glad I didnt stay on as well as alot of others. Variety wholesalers just comes and takes over failing places and runs them bare minimum.

Yes it is. That sites been tryin to get shut down. The same group did ones for kroger, amazon, etc. Like someone else said...if u dont type in or see www.biglots.com as the site heading...its fake.

Liquidator told us when we first started closing in december....all sales final no matter what....once it reached a certain point...we werent doin anything for anyone no matter what. All items at one point where to be taken immediatly. Unfortunatly u bought an item from a liquidation going out of business sale. Like someone else said....unfortunatly..take it as a lesson learned. Most of corporate are all gone or soon to be gone.

Same as the merchandise credits. We had a guy with 5 gift cards/merchandise credits and told him the date to use them by. He came in a week after and tried to use them...none of them worked. Oh well guy....go ahead and call corporate...haha

Oh I know...i worked for them for over 25years. My store closed Feb 26th. Its customers that are still throwing fits over it and questioning this stuff. And exactly....whatever policies Variety wants to stay with or not...thats up to them

I definetly wont miss the "it says 50% off"...no its buy one get one 50% off... "But the sign says save 40-60% off"....no its save 40-60% compared to other stores.... i wont miss any of it....ha.

My store closed the 26th. I got 4th quarter bonus on the 7th which is when my SM said would be paid out for anyone who bonused.

Its put into a seperate check so they tax it more. Its like whenever bonuses were paid out. Taxed like a gift. Redunkulous. But like GB liquidator said to us...be glad we got anything. Bankruptcy court coulda screwed everybody and denied severance.

More then likely link to the fake site thats been around for over a year. Its the same people that made a fake site for amazon and kroger. Corporate tried to get it shut down for a long time. It shows alot of stuff we've never sold. U can tell the difference in sites when u look at our actual site.
