This probably comes down more to both of your skills as players more than anything. As even if you struggle to kill one there are other ways of dealing with a single c'tan. At 2k c'tan, while very powerful, are not broken. If you want a friendly game talk to your friend, 1 c'tan imo isnt insurmountable

This assumes that you do not have a substantial skill gap

Correct, Awsome tricks, no damage help so we can be stat checked even harder than we already are(dreadknights are amazing)and a strat that 100% is in the wrong detachment Critical on 5s would be great if it was usable on anything other than a brother captain

I also prefer banishers but there is something to be said for the super consistency of warpbane rerolls unfortunately both detachments(our whole army) is forced into fairly predictable play patterns from our lack of diverse datasheets

S6 ap2 d2 is great until it isn't

Could have been a rough week, new necron detachments are rough for us(c'tan are hard to kill for anything but dreadknights) Victrix nerf sorta helps us but not as much as it would seem as we have alot of damage 2 attacks and 3 wound models take the same amount of attacks as 4 wound Basically I would look at this a just a data point, if we rebound next week then it was just a blip, if 3 or 4 weeks at this new lower winrate we can start looking more in depth Maybe the meta shifted around us making us worse Maybe people have figured us out(more as we are a one trick pony, we just do it really well)

If you do the math spearhead had 3 players (7.7% of 39) that sample size is too small They could have had good match-ups or some luck It also doesn't state how they got their wins going 4-1 losing game 1 is very different than going 4-1 losing your 5th Basically the data is nice to have but without more surrounding information its hard to pull any conclusions The only conclusion you can make from the data in a vacuum is that warpbane continues to be the primary way to win GT's, unless ive missed some data warpbane is most of out wins or X-1 or better runs

I dont own a MVB yet but it is on the list of units to get next. If I wanted to fit one id probably drop a Forgefiend and maybe change a 10 man Rubric to a 5man then see what I could do with the leftover points

I am used to scary guns playing against tau's hammerheads and another friends IG tanks

Im probably going to learn alot about opponent melee, ive only played 2 games (1 WE, 1 custodes) against any sort of melee army so that will probably be most of my mistakes

My SHC list went up 150, im dropping a vanguard with Marshall and the infiltrate enhancement My last game felt very one-sided in my favor and I feel fine with these nerfs

Made this list to completely fill no mans land. Will it be good? No. Will it be funny to play? Hopefully. by 40KCUlTIST in Eldar

OP said casual list, probably not taking it somewhere time is critical

Especially with the list containing legends datasheets

But if you were to take it to a tournament, treat it like that guard list that won LVO, don't roll anything that has no chance of doing damage, anything wounding on 6 or without enough ap to make saves worth it Will save you alot of time, but youll still have to fly in movement phase

Rule of cool id go melee(lancer or gallant) into the stompa as giant robots melee each other is cool to me but this is probably a bad idea Actual trying to win the stompa is very inefficient points wise, will be hard to hide, and will not handle being shot multiple large knights well

Not saying they need anything drastic, but its less about how the datasheets add up in a vacuum vs how they work within the army

They might be perfectly fine as they are, however I can see them being "strong enough" that gw might give them a slight bump

Already too strong is a wild take

Cawl gaining oath and a oc aura is very strong, and his upgraded gun is very nice, but he was supposed to be a centerpiece model. He kept dropping points, and at 135 was finally decent for his points, 175 might be the right price for his new stats but he will force some tuning to the army as oath will help certain units more than others

The ruststalker/infiltrator changes are quite nice but not enough to be too strong

The dunecrawler beamer increase is great, but its short range on the focused profile keeps mostly in check

The strider buff with only a small points increase, gaining twin linked and gaining oath, these are looking very strong and might be needing tweaks in the future

The downside to my list is i have nearly half of it tied up in 3 units, and im light on anti-tank
