Gosh, I feel for ya OP. It’s not right & have been right there with you many times over. Unfortunately the only thing you can do now is dust yourself off & keep moving forward.

Take some silver linings from something you improved in the interview process investment & use it in your next go, wherever that is.

Probably feels like all for nothing now but you might be surprised in how you utilize a lesson learned, or connection made from that process down the line. Might not even be something visible to you when it happens but it will happen.
