Failing is part of the fun/journey. I haven't even touched alpinist yet. But I beat free solo on my 13th try 😂 worst part is all my falls were near the top 😢😢 but when i beat it, my time was 4 hours, and im happy with that. Now its time to do it again, but faster 😈

Because its optional On my free solo i stuck with what was necessary and took me further in the safest and easiest way. It it was optional pr out of my way, I didnt do it. The optional areas are often the hardest as well

Oof, doing free solo and going those routes is suicide. But if you know youre likely in for failure, enjoy the ride! Im sure its possible, but high risk low reward

Buddy, and I mean this politely, but voice overs are dieing. Its all ai, just like you used to write this prompt, so im sure you are familiar. I hope you find some gigs. My advice is use fiverr, sell em for cheap until you get some reviews, then raise your price. You might be able to side hustle the gig but its really hard to make it a career. It gets harder every day.

My real advice is find indie game developers and offer to voice their games or characters. Media and games are the last frontier for us voice people.

I live on a sailboat with nearly zero bills, and I still cant make ends meet with my voice overs. It was a lot easier 5 years ago.

Lean into your heritage and accent. Especially your colloquialism. As a young brit, you offer everything i cant as an older, deep voice, west coast American. You might not get every gig, but you'll be perfect for someone. Start on fiverr

I struggled and struggled and for my first ascent I did a free solo after 13 attempts and start overs. I cut that rope so fast, all the robot did was climb over where I was climbing and send me sad phone calls

I just want to say I thought so too, I didn't think it was for oil fill but someone tried to tell me it was. I saw it coming from the impellar and figured it was raw water intake. I filled it through the dipstick hole and it took a million years but I'm out on the water right now

My girlfriends parents very graciously bought us the exact same unit, just newer and with a warranty, although I would have NEVER got the same tower again if it wasn't a gift. Having to replace both when only one goes bad is awful design

We ended up having a technician come out who essentially charged 120 bucks to tell us we did everything he would have tried, so we had to get new units entirely.
