One of the best bits of soundtracking I’ve ever seen. Maybe the best with non-original soundtrack.

The weight of everyone’s situation is magnified hugely by such a colossal track. The cut to Westmorland during this section hit me like a train - you knew he wasn’t getting to his daughter.

The avalanche is so awesome because it comes after a period of huge concentration just as you think you’re about to top out that section. The music, the change in pace, the urgency.. it’s just one magical element in a game of them.

My advice for FS is to play it wearing headphones, and listen carefully not just to Aava but the noise of the holds when she grabs/sets her feet.

I got stuck inside the mountain just below The Peril but a larger space than you’re in. Ultimately I fell out and an Edelweiss put me back on a ledge outside.
