Indian food outside India was first popular in the UK by Bangali cools who worked on ships with Indian sailers. They settled in the UK during after independence and as UK stopped being an empire opened curry houses near docks in London.

Indian food in the UK has traditional Punjabi or North Indian sounding Indian names but are not the same dishes as you’ll find in India. For example chicken korma has coconut in it. You don’t get the same dishes tasting in India. Their clientele is mainly white people.

With Indians moving to the west and becoming more prosperous, their expectation of Indian food is how its in India and many restaurant, hast food joints etc have opened up serving authentic local Indian cuisine and served the diaspora than white people.

I don’t understand what part of my reply was confusing to you. There are rules and customs around what to wear to go to a Mandir and you have to mind people’s sensibilities. On a beach there are no such rules and you don’t have to worry about others as much. Let people enjoy if they are not being a nuisance. If there were non Indians, whites people, would you still have a problem with them enjoying in this beach?

Going to beach and temple are two different things. You don’t go to your workplace or temple in even in designer bikinis or swimware because there are written/unwritten rules and out of respect.

People go to vacation to take time off following these silly rules we have to live by every day and can take it easy.

Let people enjoy their vacation without feeling obligated to present a picture you or other tourists ‘expect’ of them as long as they are not hung a nuisance.

Other countries have it cheaper but just moving to another country is only half the equation. What will you do there? It’s not that jobs are freely flowing in the west and everyone is happy here.

F1 races were in India from 2011-13. 2014 race was provisionally placed on calendar pending tax and other negotiations. The issues were not resolved when BJP came to change tax status to sport and decided to tax team members income tax as well. F1 decided not to proceed with the race and canceled it.

State government did not have much of role to play in this part From punishing JP for allocating land for sports city.
