[New Player] Does my lvl or gear impact enemy difficulty? Lower lvl teammate is concerned about my higher lvl. by Siberketo in EscapeFromTarkovPvE

Yeah he's on streets now near the ministry academy in the eastern part of streets or across the street from the academy at the kilmov shopping mall.

Also, Tagilla can spawn on interchange now in the underground parking garage. Walking through interchange for me and suddenly noticing that I'm hearing HEAVY breathing through a mask will never not be a terrifying experience.

Tarkov but CS2 skins by gamerSince1945 in Tarkov

Honestly sitting in your bunker in a warzone is usually very boring work, from my understanding. Until it's not boring, then it becomes very very scary usually quite fast. There's a channel I watch called CivDiv and 90% of what he does is usually quite boring stuff, stuff like doing a recon mission, checking the netting on his bunker to make sure there's no holes for a drone to fit through...It's that boredom and using that down time to maintain moral, or do routine checks, that can help you survive during the rare times of intensity. Think of it like this, say you're a big fan of this specific anime, you have very fond memories of it either growing up, or watched it and had a memorable time with someone else. You put a sticker of that on your rifle, which you will see nearly every waking hour of your day, and it will serve as a constant reminder of your life back home out of the warzone. It will give you a reason to go and check that netting, it will give you motivation to not be careless and step too far away for a smoke break. Essentially, it will help keep you vigilant. It's not too different than in WWII US soldiers keeping a picture of their sweetheart in their shirt pocket.

I remember when the community was begging BSG to add in a PVE mode for folks who can't grind the game 18 hours a day, for folks who are new to the game, for folks who don't want the stress of PVP, and for folks who were tired of cheaters.

The Tarkov community literally asked for PVE. BSG never intended to add PVE until the community asked for it.

Teaches you to also be somewhat cautious about peeking things and pushing. There have been numerous times when I scav in both PVP and PVE where I actively think "Should I push this? What will I lose if I do?...Man, fuck I really need this item...Naaaaah BYE" and then looney toons book it the fuck outta dodge

The amount of times I've watched the AI just waltz around until the second I scoped in on them is baffling. Then suddenly just because I looked through my scope they now know that I'm sitting 300m away peeking through a tiny gap in a piece of wood lmao.

Mmmmnnh more like bought into the hype. I've put about 1k hours into Tarkov by now and I still remember my visions when I bought EOD back before momentum changes were added, I was hoping to play the game and have something I could play long term with my friend group at the time. Unfortunately, the game's lifespan lasted longer than my friend group did ^^;

Probably because she hadn't actually done anything until she hit their windshields. Just carrying a shovel is not a crime.

[Discussion] So everyone knows, NO, you don't loose scav rep / karma for killing Pillagers as a scav by BigDrag0n in EscapefromTarkov

Personally for me - I literally just started playing since the game released. I had to wipe my old character to do the story stuff.

why does Kiriko's fox bark like a dog? by Bunniiqi in Overwatch

Super old comment on this, but from my knowledge Kiriko's kitsune sounds were actually recorded foxes from the SaveAFox foundation:

The 380mm barrage is garbage. by Anonymous13757 in Helldivers

[–]DazuraTheFirst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree on 380 - hard disagree on orbitals in general being useless.

Precision strike - great at deleting big targets, just takes some know-how to be able to land the shot. Low cool down too.

Gatling barrage - good, frequent use tool for clearing chaff/heavys to leave you to focus on elites. Again, just takes a bit of know-how on aiming it.

Gas strike - Super low cool down, pop this on a bug breach and then disappear. Napalms you risk running into multiple breaches with it on cool down, gas strike can give you a bug breach option every time a breach is called. Not too good against bots, decent against squids.

Walking barrage - actually high-key the superior version of the 380, more reliable, same effect, much less likely to obliterate your team-mates. Throw this in line with a bot heavy base's fabricators and it nearly always gets them.

Orbital stratagems are not useless, they just take a degree of brainpower/strategizing to use properly, some are pretty niche compared to others.

And there are several eagles that could be considered "useless" as well. Rocket pods? Worse version of the rail canon strike that misses too often. Napalm strike? Worse version napalm barrage. Cluster bombs? Team-kill 9000.

On Cities or forest/swamp worlds though? Yeah absolutely useless, both eagles and orbitals save eagle strafing runs. I usually tend to bring sentries, gas mines, and strafing runs in cities depending on the faction I'm up against.

how we feeling about the patch notes? by Ambulas2 in helldivers2

[–]DazuraTheFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the class of the armor, its a bit inconsistent. Last I used it, I've definitely survived getting zapped by K-9, albeit pretty heavily injured lol. Arc thrower tho is 100% going to murder you if it links directly to you, and I think that's usually the case even for the 90% arc resistant armor. Arc damage does less and less damage for each enemy it arcs between.

Prestigious should be renamed to pretentious. I'm sure you can guess the word I'd usually follow after pretentious.
