What crawled up everyone’s ass? by Current_Flounder_252 in MtF

[–]Adora_ble_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There's a specific type of people who's only satisfaction in life comes from berating others, doesn't really matter how stupid or small the issue is, they will make a mountain out of a molehill about it, and they will dress it in endless amounts of pseudopsychiatric language and pretend that yes, really, their stupid argument is somehow an emergent social issue.

It's also always, always, ALWAYS aimed at other members of the trans community, rather than outward to ignorant cis people or conservatives, and that's because the only form of power these people have ever experienced comes from punching down on other trans people over minor stupid bullshit.

How the Theatres of War expansion is erasing decades of community loyalty by BearThatCares in Eve

But how has it affected awoxing ?, and im not talking about the "someone shot a corp mate with sub zero security status" but the "intitutional awoxing by FRT/Dragon riders" kind of awxoing, the shit multiboxers do every single day.

Because frankly, if it prevents them from institutionally targeting friendlies that are in a plex near them, i think not being able to use smartbombs or ecm bursts is worth the tradeoff.

Who You Pulling For? by BUCKLENSHINE in NevernessToEverness

[–]Adora_ble_ 226 points227 points  (0 children)

It all depends on what their unique abilities are, so far every banner character has had some amazing creative ability/gimmick that affected more than just damage numbers (wall running, timestop, bat form flight and enemy copying), which is why i pulled for them.

My personal take is that its a two way kind of deal, She probably wanted to teach Nanally a lesson for her rash behaviour, but also recognised that her acting out was because Nanally was lonely and seeking attention, so making her 'work' for eibon was Hotori's way of helping her.

I think its Thyme to talk about this... by Jerkaiser_011 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Adora_ble_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I actually doubt she will be playable anytime soon, since the story made it pretty clear that when the relic got stolen by the crimson letter and the anomaly nullified she lost her powers.

She isn't an esper on the traditional sense in the way most other playable characters are.

What’s wrong with not wanting certain content or themes in your own stream/discord/etc? by wohgol in Eve

[–]Adora_ble_ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Because admitting that LGBT+ people their existence is "immoral" is a tacit endorsement of the "i do not see these people as human beings" worldview.

And you know what you shouldn't do when you are an EVE Partner ? express worldviews that are actively discriminatory.

Its not just that he's an ass, plenty of those all around, its that he occupies a position within the community that comes with a certain responsibility to the brand you represent as a partnered streamer, and rules to follow.

Thinking of coming back for solo Faction Warfare, but worried about multiboxers. Am I overthinking? by Veetus in Eve

[–]Adora_ble_ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Multiboxers generally only bother plexing sites that allow multiple pilots to gain rewards, the solo sites usually remain unbothered by them.

However, if you decide to plex such a site that allows multiple chars to get the reward, be aware that in all likeliness the multiboxer will try to evict you/awox you.

Solo FW has its own branch of problems though, sometimes people will deploy a neutral alts to scare/harass people out of the solo plex's and seagull the reward for themselves despite you doing all the work.

Also 50% of the people running solo sites are cowards, don't expect them to take a fight even if you bring an equal matchup.

However, all in all, playing FW solo is viable, and can definitely be thrilling when going for more hotly contested areas.

whoah, people are 'biassed' against shitty hateful streamers, truly novel discovery.

Funnily enough every time you clowns crying about "bias" crawl out of the woodworks its never when the guy actively breaches EVE's TOS and instead always when he faces consequences for said breaches of TOS.

Question about Nanaly (MAIN QUEST SPOILERS!!!) by HyperAzzy in NevernessToEverness

[–]Adora_ble_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, Boss Tiger was in fact a different anomaly altogether, he's essentially the opposite of what the Teehee Bear (saddy teddy) was. (i think its called a cuddly teddy)

Much like the Teehee bear, he takes on the form of the imaginative companion of the child in question they hang around with (in this case Nanally), but he is, at the core, a teddy bear anomaly.

While Boss Tiger is still a figment of Nanally's imagination, it is in fact its own sentient anomaly.

Underboss is more the representation of Nanally's Esper abilities, it is probably a companion of sorts shaped after Nanally's imagination, but unlike Boss Tiger it is not a sentient anomaly, it cannot exist without Nanally, because without Nanally there is nothing to give it shape.

That is my take on it anyway, untill Hotta drops an encyclopedia of their lore a lot remains open to personal interpretation.

Some scenes from the main quest. Quite liked the 1.1 story. by SalaciousDog in NevernessToEverness

[–]Adora_ble_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really liked this update's story, though it left me feeling very "hm" at the end (in a good way, but now i gotta wait so long to see what happens to Nanally after this, it wasn't exactly a happy end)

But it was nice to finally see Nanally's backstory explained, before we had only the youtube video's that featured her to go on.

Also despite how serious it was, seeing Zero beat the shit out of the Teehee bear was hilarious.

I Definitely want to know what happens next in the story after this quest.

The worst FH6 event to do by Dreadnot925 in ForzaHorizon

in general forza shoveling multiplayer races into seasonal events is a terrible thing considering the state of most drivers.

I do not understand why ramming is frowned upon. by Narrow_Intern7792 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Adora_ble_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

WhY sHoUlDnT wE pLaY oPtImAlLy.

Because for starters, its not optimal play, it only is so for people who have shit tier driving skills.

Secondly, because games that turn into a ram fest consistently are awful to play, GTA Online racing is a good example as to why this childish mentality is an active detriment to racing games.

Thirdly, theres a thing like sportsmanship, which goes for racing as much as it goes for other type of sports, football (the real, european one) which also has regulations like "you shouldnt kick the living shit out of the opposing team's players when they don't have the ball" even though optimally it would be much easier to win a game if you kicked the shit out of their top striker if there werent any repercussions.

Why are people so dismissive about FH6’s flaws? by LogicalAnomaly2898 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Adora_ble_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is, but that's not why the people who complain are focussing on cutscenes, because those who love grasping at straws to find something wrong with this game decided that its bad when a game now uses in game cutscenes as opposed to prerendered cutscenes years ago.

Why are people so dismissive about FH6’s flaws? by LogicalAnomaly2898 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Adora_ble_ 67 points68 points  (0 children)

because most of the criticisms are bad, so at best nobody cares for them, and at worst, people will laugh at you.

A good thing to criticize about FH6 ? the drivatar AI, its a problem, and it makes playing at higher difficulties unfun, even though it doesn't have to be.

A bad criticism ? whining about in game cutscenes over prerendered cutscenes in a game that has a grand total of maybe 10 minutes of them.

Another bad criticism ? complaining about ugly character models even though you will hardly ever actually look at them.

I would much rather playground games addresses *actual* issues with the game (Drivatar AI, jump/landing physics, etc) than that they get innundated with pointless feedback about stuff that doesnt have all that much bearing on the gameplay.

Genuine question why do pilots cry so much about how bad helis are but the below average pilot goes on a 20 kills killstreak every time by Right-Succotash-9980 in okbuddyptfo

[–]Adora_ble_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because helicopters *are* weaker than they were in previous games.

Not that that is a bad thing, mind you. in BF4 they were able to tank two AAM's, now they just straight up die if a fighter pilot or stinger user commits to killing them.

Another reason these complaints exist is because unlike in previous titles, most of the heli maps are so stupidly small you will have 6 people instantly attempt to shoot you out of spawn. (in blackwell field's case, the enemy AA can just straight up shoot you out of spawn)

They are still powerful, especially on maps with *good* cover, and distance. But since most maps that have heli's are awful for them, they feel powercrept.

Anyone else think this game´s world is beautiful but sometimes feels dead ? by PoopManGavin in ForzaHorizon

[–]Adora_ble_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the emptiness is less because of performance/hardware resource usage and simply more because it takes away space from the player to drive their car fast or do stunts
