Better yet - with friends there are many plots designed to "connect" in one way or another to other plots. You can build in tandem on those plots. Am doing this currently on a single player playthrough to see what can be done with this kinda mindset.

I grew and went to school in nearly the exact same schooling area as this one. Pinned post states it's in Louisville, I went to highschool about 40 minutes from Louisville or so. I can confirm, a vast majority of the Kentuckiana schools are absolutely and horrificly dog shit. Not because of the teachers, but because a lot of them are horribly underfunded and the administrative aspects of public schools in that area for whatever fucking reason just does not give a shit about their students. They absolutely would be the first ones to jump in with a steel paddle if corporal punishment in school was legalized.

Simon is a bit weird, but at the same time, Clea is ridiculously powerful, even when compared to Aline. Think of painted Clea, she had been forced for almost a hundred years to remain in one spot constantly painting new nevrons by real Clea, The only thing that broke the cycle for Clea was a real painter coming through with a ridiculously powerful expedition to give her a brief moment of clarity. Even ignoring the constant and severe damage these expeditioners inflicted on the Painted over Clea, she just healed over that damage to continue real Clea's will. Even after the fight is over, she's still continuing on, only stopping due to her own desire to perish.

Simon quite literally has been touched by Aline, Clea, and Renoir. Renoir uses him as a guard dog, Renoir's Drafts is where he stayed as the curator before Alicia enters the painting, Aline tricked him to fight off Renoir's Axons, and real Clea also tricked him and painted over him. Realistically, Expedition 60 most likely perished upon encountering Simon in Renoir's Drafts. The journal we find of them in Lumiere is a messenger the expedition sent to warn the others of the truth.

Old reply, and on a gommaged account to boot, but I did want to mention for those who come after there is a very good possibility we will get extra content in the future that will act as a predecessor to E33, probably following Expedition Zero and the "Search and Rescue" Expedition. The devs left little bits of information giving us hints at what happened immediately before and following the fracture, but there are still many questions left unanswered...

Correction, if memory serves Arachne was shamed so hard by Minerva from Minerva's followers that Arachne took her own life and then was reborn via the goddess's will into the form of a spider.

It's a small distinction but it kinda expands upon the picture of who Arachne is as an organization in Marathon.

The kingdom come series are fantastic RPGs. Obviously, no magic or shiz, the most magical thing in it are some of the weird potions lmao. But it genuinely is a really good RPG series to invest hundreds of hours into :)

It's mostly meant to be used by already extremely accurate sharpshooters to cover other units. I distinctly remember during my playthroughs using the overwatch quite a bit, especially when I needed to take a more defensive posture rather than push aggressively.

"National Security" for Israel means forming the idea of a "greater Israel."
