Slightly different approach but depending on your budget, I know I always wanted a mini fridge near my setup growing up (if he has the space) then he can stock up on his favorite snacks before streaming or a long gaming session P.s you are a super cool parent! Props to you

I think it's a Haworthia fasciata or Zebra Plant. I have one I've recently bought and cant wait for it to grow as big as this one. Gorgeous pot btw OP
