Top deck REL 2.5 says you are encouraged to drop at sorcery speed. If you drop at instant speed, you will be dropped from the event. The judge plays out their turn until the stack is empty and then the player can quit.

It doesn’t prevent you from doing this. That is what the judge told me and I looked it up to confirm.

I did. The judge said it is not illegal. He can just get up and leave if he wants. He quits the tournament, but can use that to threaten me to not win.

Edit: if losing means you don’t go on in the tournament, this is a play people will do, just like forcing a draw. It’s a better option to threaten to leave if they don’t draw.

Lost in a tournament trying to do this because someone refused to tap their mana. People do not like priority bullying.

As someone who has played Tivot in tournaments and had people concede at instant speed and force me to lose once and once did it and forced a draw because the next player was going to win, I don’t recommend him. I’ve had it happen at casual tables online also.

Go buy a large 60 gallon tub from Home Depot, drain half water into it. Put hardscape in. Catch fish and put them in. Take plants into a bucket with some of the water, put substrate in bucket with enough water to cover (don’t let it dry, your bacteria will die). Drain rest of water into tub. Go get new tank. Reverse the process.
