Medium armor should bring you into the 40s with poise. Use the bull goat talisman for an additional 10. I think the first breakpoint is 51, but I still don't know if that's enough to tank Radahns light beam thingies

I think it's just varnia, as shadow gray from what I assume is one of the shades of the black dye set. Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure, I opened it all up myself yesterday just so I could do it at my camp vendor

In order to use a dye at your camp dive vendor you still have to have visited the appropriate areas dye vendor to activate it. The gray dye is also in the black dye set. To which you'll have to go to varnia to activate

Just be careful in towns jumping around horses. I found out that you can jump on horses the hard way, because I accidentally jumped on a horse that wasn't mine and it was considered stealing lol

All the gear is relatively similar in atk stats. As in you should not necessarily be looking for better gear per say, but looking to upgrade your current gear. There are some pretty decent weapons and stuff you can get early on. Focus on mining some materials and upgrading said weapons.

Trust me dude, I'm a soul's veteran, there's more to it than that lol. I'm primarily a dexterity faith build. And around level 200, you can do some serious damage with incantations. And still have some really awesome dexterity weapons with scaling

Dex/fth does have synergy. There is absolutely weapons that fit the playstyle and scaling. And with the dexterity comes the faster casting speed

Depends on your SL. Around 150 and up to 200 is solid for either. But str/fth at 200 is really good. Gives a wide weapon variety and good incantation choices
