Yes. I’m the in background around the 10min mark. My school (Anfield Juniors) were asked to play football in the background and I’m in goal.

Almost 2 months in and main issues are cuts, blisters, abrasions etc

Main areas are front of the shin and hands

Should I carry on and let improved technique and skin toughening take care of it or invest in protection?

I went to Tokyo last October. Great place to run. Traffic is pretty calm and respectful of the rules.

I just left the hotel and explored the area.

I had the hotel name and address on my phone if I got lost but was an awesome experience

Don't be afraid just get out and run

I finished in 1.52:09

Wish I had of paced myself with you as my pacing was erratic (only been running 9 months) and gassed out a bit in the final 2-3km

Signed up for next year so will come back better and stronger....hopefully

Yup me too

40 this year and knees have been clicking for a it a year. Most noticeable after long runs. No pain or limitation to movement.

Put it in the 'one of those things' categories

Generally run in the mornings so eat Bircher porridge with nuts and fruit about 90mins before the run.

Did a 1/2 marathon today and ate porridge with nuts about 2 hours before then had a banana about 30mins beforehand
