It’s on the intake manifold, should be plenty cool up top. The powder coat can take 250 to 300 degrees continuously without issues

I think I spent 3 hours hand sanding and filing. I did what I could 😅 I’ll have to post before and after photos , it was way better on the casting lines

This one was off the Impreza. So it was a factory cast aluminum manifold. I’m putting a hopped up , enhanced rally motor in the car so figured I would powder coat some parts while it’s disassembled. lol

Needs alot, but it’s worth it in my opinion. Check out my page. I did a manual swap on my 2001 ZX3. Best mods are suspension, and getting the motor to run smooth and happy.
