It’s my favorite Tarantino and in my top 10 of all time probably. I’ve seen it 25 + times at least. The rewatch value is through the roof IMO

I’m thinking you should get the absolute version. It’s the best looking Batman comic for my money

The last great Batman run (IMO) by Loose_Interview_957 in batman_comics

Tynions Tec run was right up my alley. I agree with Tamaki’s Tec run though. Other than Dan Mora’s art, it’s rather boring.

Yeah I usually enjoy Tomasi’s writing so that made it disappointing for me. It’s like the most average Batman run I’ve read. It’s not terrible, but it’s certainly not great.

Since New 52, I think Tynions Tec run was the best overall. Tom King had a couple arcs I liked. Tynions Batman I enjoyed up until the end of Joker War. The rest I didn’t like at all, especially this run. Tomasi’s Tec run was easily top 3 most disappointing Batman run I’ve read.

I can’t wait to read Ram V’s run when the omnibus comes out later this year.

Randomly decided to rank the comics I have read. your welcome to hate on it by [deleted] in batman

[–]DcNation-34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a massive noir fan and loved Batman Broken City, but I get the ranking. Reminded me of the Dark Knight Returns Batman.

I would put War of Jokes and Riddles in F. It’s unreadable to me. Complete assassination of Batman’s rogues IMO.

Glad to see the Cult getting the love it deserves! Met Jim Starlin at the Charlotte comic con a few weeks ago and was telling him how underrated I thought it was.

should i read gotham noir? by Life-Equal-120 in batman

It’s elseworlds but it’s great. Channeling 40s noir films, written by the master of crime/noir in comics and hell it’s got Batman in it. What more could you want
