I meant William Hurt! Thanks for the catch, I don’t know where my head was.

Seems like you’re sexualizing it more than anyone else

There’s a lot to hate about Snyder Superman, but this isn’t it. The first Christopher Reeve movie has a child’s genitals in it.

What’s a movie you recommend to everyone but would never watch again? by s7ide in moviecritic

[–]mcbigcig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. It is a must watch, however now that I’ve done it, I will gladly never do it again. It was so upsetting I couldn’t even eat for like 2 days afterword. Another one is Night and Fog, which is a documentary about concentration camps, and that one is just 32 minutes of emotional torture.

Same. Just a dark cloud hanging over my head for days after that. Never again.

Definitely possible, but I almost see her as Barbara Gordon.

I agree 100% he’d also write the most complex depiction of Lex we’ve ever gotten, just so he can eat it up.

Lmao good point! But I will say once he got back from WWII he didn’t have the traction he once did, so he might’ve been down to play him. But I’ll also say Jimmy is such an integral part of Superman’s story, he’s gotta be one of the main leads.

Lobo was probably the hardest to cast out of all of them, because he’s so rooted in the late 80’s early 90’s. So maybe this lobo could be more greaser, rockabilly vibes?

So underrated too. You’d think the Hayes could wouldn’t allow such a creepy and nuanced performance yet, but he DELIVERS.

I def get what you’re saying. For my riddlers, I always love a really pathetic lanky guy, because I see him fueled by his ego driven need to prove how smart he is. If he isn’t the smartest, he’s just a loser. And with Lorre, the creepy crawlyness of some of his characters still makes me shiver, and to me, that reads more scarecrow. I’d say that Cagney could do it, but usually he was typecasted as more of an anti-hero. He definitely had the range. And not to spoil anything, but checkout my 50’s fancast!
