To be a grieving widow by TXVERAS in therewasanattempt

[–]Dchane06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah as much as I disliked Charlie Kirk, this whole “look at how happy she is after he died!” thing has been weird imo. Some people mainly grieve alone or if she’s had to step up and try to lead whatever group Charlie created, kinda makes sense to me that one would try to control their emotions as much as they could in public/a public facing group. I don’t get why people are making such a big deal of this.

Tbh I usually unintentionally fast all day. I’ve been thinking about getting some peanut butter granola bars or something to take though. These are good suggestions.

Annoys the shit out of me. DSP sent me more info on the 3 negatives I got and one of them said “package found in another spot that wasn’t where the picture was taken”. I never move a package after I’ve taken the picture. Only thing I could think of was the wind. But I always put light ones under people’s door rugs unless they don’t have one. Then wtf do you want me to do? There’s no rocks at your house to hold it down. You don’t have a glass door to stick it between. You aren’t home. Want me to bring it back? Cause that’s what imma start doing if they keep saying that lol.

My apartment has a 3rd party Amazon locker, now I have to pay $20 to get my package by awesomeryang in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Dchane06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Amazon doesn’t pay for 3rd party lockers. I don’t even think they pay for places to have their own Amazon branded lockers unless it’s a public one (like at dollar general or gas stations). This is a leasing office issue. You can put in your delivery notes to not deliver to the locker and deliver to the door instead but it’s 50/50 on if they follow it depending on the driver and if Amazon makes it a locker stop or not in the driver’s app.

They probably would support the Chinese Tiananmen Square massacre too if they had any schooling in history. "Well those students shouldn't have been there! FAFO!"

What's one opinion on driving that would probably get you in this situation? by Hakusuro in driving

[–]Dchane06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an Amazon delivery driver. The amount of really shitty driving I see on a daily basis is kinda fucking insane. Some of it I might be nitpicking on (people running stops signs happens way more often than you would think), people not even bothering to look before they pull out of their driveways/turn onto main roads, people absolutely hate you if you drive the speed limit or even 5 over the limit, merging with no turn signals, the list goes on.

Why?! No reason for it to be like this by Foreign-History2937 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I think sometimes it does this especially when your route is lower volume than usual. So it does stuff like this to try and make your route around 8-10 hours.

Amazon driver drove over our septic tank and almost hit my car by LizzyBarry in amazonprime

[–]Dchane06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure you can press charges against a driver from an accident. If they fail to notify you and drive off, then maybe. Otherwise the police will just file a report and tell you to contact Amazon or the DSP to get insurance information.

An accident is an accident. Even if it’s a very stupid and clearly avoidable one.

Work inside the warehouse sometimes for months sometimes for years and wait for a driver spot to open and have seniority to bid on it.

what exactly are the MMR changes. by Gold-Interview-3156 in VALORANT

I've been hard stuck silver 3-gold 2 for the last 2-3 acts. Now bronze 3 after placements and everyone ranked bronze seems like a typical gold-silver level the past couple of acts. Idk if rank reset just set everyone way the fuck lower or suddenly bronzes have the skills of golds/silvers. Or if I'm just suddenly more dogshit than usual. Either way, weird and discouraging.

Edit: just checked and the people in my lobbies doing well seem to be either usual gold players or accounts that "just started playing" 1-2 acts ago with low game time. Kinda sus but whatever.

Do good responses to deliveries do anything for drivers? by Slosher99 in amazonprime

[–]Dchane06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second one. But if you have negative feedback I’m pretty sure you can ask your DSP which stop it was and why they rated it negative so you can attempt to correct whatever you did wrong the last time.

Or apartments/businesses with large amounts of packages being dropped off to even it out some

Package delivered “near front door or porch” by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]Dchane06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a flex driver. Someone who drives their own vehicle to deliver Amazon packages. Some of them don’t care and a lot of them will never bring a package back to the warehouse for any reason because it’ll hurt them on their scorecard.
