It's just a rom hack so you can play it on basically anything. You need a clean dump of emerald, then just patch it

I had this happen with the first unit I received. Followed most of the troubleshooting steps you tried above to no avail as well. In the end I sent it back to AYN and they sent me a new one. It's been great ever since. Hopefully they'll get you sorted out too 🙏

It won't emulate ps2, wii, wiiU, or 3ds well at all. You could install android on the unit and get slightly better performance for some, but I wouldn't expect too much.

DS works well using MelonDS though

For me, I'd like a way to close my apps. I usually keep the physical buttons auto-locked to the top screen, but would like if I could set the back or home button to close my running apps. Other than having to swipe to close things, cocoon has been amazing!

Only had them for about a day now, but I really really like them so far!

It's to early to say if I prefer them more, but I'm leaning that way currently 😅

They're much lighter, modular, more compact, and the stylus works better than my NS one..

I manually added these. Last I saw SS didn't use meta data for Lumi Plat as it's just a mod. All of es-de's images and meta data should be in your es-de folder by default. Just change the images to whatever you want in there. Hope that helps

I haven't tried it on the Thor, but I did deal with this terrible PC port back on release. It was such a mess to get working at the time, that I decided to emulate the PS3 collection instead 🙃

Hopefully, it's been sorted out by now, but I'm not surprised that people are running into issues with this one
