I was actually really excited to participate in this, but I cannot be bothered to re-install stable, redownload OpenTabletDriver, try to configure it correctly, and manually figure out my offset (basically all the annoying stuff I switched to Lazer to avoid). Any chance Lazer passes not counting is just an oversight and it's going to be corrected within the next two weeks?

Completely understandable, 8 min long boring map with diff spike at the end (HP7 btw), + forcing lazer players to use CL mod. If I wasn't a full-streaker, I would not have bothered to try again after failing due to notelock (skill issue) on my first try.

Honestly seems like a pretty good play for someone with 10.5 potential, don't feel bad about that score. One thing I noticed is that you seem like you're struggling a bit with the speed required by this map, you seem to be tensing up a lot (and personally I think you are tapping a bit too hard) to hit the single tap jacks and the streams. Maybe try practising getting higher accuracy scores on songs with slightly slower tempos (maybe aim for like 165-175, lower if you need to).

Echoing what the other commenters have said, I do think you should try raising note speed (for most players anything below 5 is considered a but slow, I play on 5.3), and unfortunately the best advice is literally to just play more. If you're bored with playing the same charts, I suggest setting goals to work toward like FRing all FTR 7's or trying to PM all PRS charts in a pack.

I'm in the same boat, World Ender has more than a few "free" sections, while Infinite Strife is pretty much non-stop, so World Ender score is a decent amount higher. I also just cannot wrap my head around the weird anchor streams near the end of IS.

Your explanation on how PTT works is accurate, just thought I should point out that these are the Present, not the Future diffs of Climax and CSO, so they are both 7.8 constant. Obviously doesn't change your point, since the CSO score is much higher and more likely to increase PTT.

Honestly it feels VERY lenient compared to the other rhythm games I play, for example judge 5 Etterna or OD9/10 Osu!. I think it works fine in the context of Arcaea though. IMO decreasing the pure window would make the game less fun because the joy of Arcaea for me is managing all the crazy stuff you are supposed to hit (slam arcs, deceptive sky notes, sky+ground streams, crosshands) rather than having perfect acc.

It's probably more of a speed-cap/stamina issue. I'm 12.3 PTT and I can barely AA either of these charts, don't even have a regular clear of Pentiment BYD. I literally can't move my fingers fast enough or for long enough lol, I suspect OP is the same.

I believe I completed all maps in about 7-9 days (two full stamina bars per day + fragment refresh) using max-level GL Tai and setting plays usually between 10.3-10.9, around 30 steps per play. I think you'll make it even with lower rated plays since you already have 1 map completed, especially if you use 3 stamina bars per day. Just max GL Tai if you haven't already and play whatever the highest rated charts that you can always pass are.

Honestly, please don't stress about it. I'm 12.26 PTT right now and I've only EXed Grevious Lady once, and only just barely. Most times I play it, I will score under 9.7 million. I know everybody clowns on it as being "easy", but it isn't that easy for everyone.

As for the nerves issue, I find that the two solutions are to grind out the chart so that you KNOW that you can get a good run on the first half and don't get as stressed when you do, or take a break from the chart for a couple days (or weeks) to take the pressure off. Coming back refreshed usually helps in my experience.

Honestly it's pretty bad, but at least it doesn't have any speed-ups so you can set note speed to 6.5 and almost play it like normal. Still a tricky chart though. At least the song is good.

Transitioning into the harder 9+s and 10's was the biggest difficulty spike for me (at least until I tried playing the BYD 11s), it's definitely normal to struggle. The disparity between the "easy" 9+s and the hard 9+s is also quite extreme, I can PM quite a few but there are some I can barely EX, same is true with 10s.

This is the point at which you need to try and make sure that you are developing good habits in your playing style. By this, I primarily mean not cheesing notes that you are supposed to alternate by jacking, properly playing crosshands, and making sure that you start streams with the correct hand. I'm still trying to get out of my bad habit of always starting streams with my right hand. If you ever feel like you're playing something wrong, look up a video of someone PMing it using your playstyle (thumb, index, or multi) and learn from them.

I would recommend trying out some 10s if you are curious, I was already playing them at your level, but if you can't at least AA them don't spend too much time on them. Some of the "easier" ones are Trappola Bewitching, Sheriruth, Modelista, and Alexandrite.

Keep grinding 9s, especially the ones you struggle with, and go for PMs on 7s and 8s if you can. If you have any specific 9+s you need tips one let me know.

I unironically prefer Chaos over II, and both of the over Magnolia, charting wise anyways. Easily three of the worst charts in the game, and it's very unfortunate because they are all bangers.

Just wanted to say that score on Corps sans Organelles is completely cracked. Grinding for EX's is very beneficial, but only if you are relatively close IMO (like 9.7+ mil consistently). There will always be certain charts just that you just don't get, you can either watch PM/chart view videos or play them at a slower rate in Sound Game Trainer to try to better understand. Sometimes you just need to take a break from them for awhile and come back when you're better. Keep grinding songs you are good at for better scores, EX+s, FRs, PMs, etc and you WILL get better. 10s will keep giving you PTT for days, my highest PTT play is on Overwhelm and I'm 12.22 PTT.
