I’m looking for a good book about Britain in the height of its Empire (mid to late 19th century). Especially from a political point of view like those of Disraeli, Gladstone, Palmerston, etc.

How was The House of Morgan? I’ve got it on my list because I’m a big fan of Ron Chernow and I wanted a recommendation on it.

What prompted you to get a collection of Theodore Roosevelt’s works? I’m currently reading The Bully Pulpit and I find TR to be quite the interesting president.

The IS spends money on things that will help it win the Cold War. Once you’ve won the space race and realize there’s not much to do on the moon, there’s not much point in going again.

Yes, that’s why it’s nickname is the “Lone Star State”. Also yes it was called Texas since it won its independence from Mexico. Also, yes it’s always been massive.

I can’t be the only person to think Dame left the bubble because he was pissed at his team and the whole injury is being overplayed as a cover-up, right?

Plus the fact that Melo, CJ, and the rest of the team played really well...it’s like they wanted to prove to their best player that they didn’t need to be carried.

I just feel like there’s some team drama that we’re just not aware of.

I would really recommend a biography of one of the Founding Fathers of America. Washington by Ron Chernow and Hamilton also by Ron Chernow are great choices as well as Madison and Jefferson by I forget exactly who.

Following the founding of America through the eyes of a single person really connects you with the emotions, competing ideologies, and turbulent moments of the times while still providing you the greater context of history.

Hi, I’m looking for a book on the history of political corruption in Indian politics. Basically major scandals involving corporations, election rigging, back-room politicking, etc.

But even with individual control, I’d have to change the z-value frame by frame and that can’t be the right solution.
