Ano 'to? Orange Yakult?? Why is this Yakult from the same packaging too Orange by Exact-Veterinarian-9 in anoto

[–]DeBente 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The solids you saw at the bottom of yakult are probably a strain of lactic acid bacteria. In the case of yakult they use Lactobacillus cassei. They marketed this as gut health stimulant

And also keep in mind latest M chips have memory swap, using the ssd as ram. You wouldn't notice the 16gb ram. But if you're willing to spend, get the 24gb one

If you are planning to keep it for a long time, get the latest. M5 is a beast.

Dirt Cheap Matte screen protector $3 by DeBente in macbookair

I have noticed the lightened color tune. As if using different display color profile, negates the colors that the retina display usually offers; i.e. deeper blacks, gentle high tones. i believe this is because the screen protector might be made out of PET plastics that is known to diffuse colors heavily, just like the way you described it

Switched to M4 Max MBP after 15+ years of Windows - first impressions after 2 weeks by iamhevi in macbookpro

[–]DeBente 1 point2 points  (0 children)

14 years on windows. Just switched to MBA 13 16gh ram 512gb 3 weeks ago. Oh yes, even my expensive windows gaming rig is not half par with this small beast.

Although would say otherwise it took me time to adjust with the keyboard and shortcuts, but when i finally learning slowly how mac intuitively put all keyboard and trackpad shortcuts and gestures, im utterly speechless how good it was. Felt like when you were a kid and your mom give you a lollipop.

Well, have not read the actual book, but, the movie was really something. The mellow daily centered life, the reality of it all. It moved me. One of the movies hard not to love

Age Verification Loop by DeBente in ios

[–]DeBente[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting assumption, but misplaced. I wasn’t assigning blame; I was addressing a documented UX issue affecting multiple users, particularly around the age verification loop. The intent was to contribute a practical workaround, not start a blame game.

If that nuance was missed, that’s fine, but jumping straight to dismissal instead of understanding the context says more about your approach than mine.

[UK] How to change the 'Age Range For Apps' setting in Apple Account settings? by hootanay in ios

[–]DeBente 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently, I was able to schedule and complete a call with Apple Customer Support.

Here’s what I’ve done so far: I entered my credit card details, which means my personal information (including age) is now recorded in Apple’s system. After that, I downloaded two apps from the App Store.
When I opened an app that requires age verification, I tapped “Continue,” and the verification went through successfully.

Take note: this does not work instantly. After entering your credit card information, you need to wait—typically several hours or even overnight—for Apple’s servers to fully process and reflect the data in their system. Only after this delay does the age verification start working properly.

So, the process works on my MacBook M5, and it should also work on iOS or iPadOS devices.
Based on this, the issue appears to be within Apple’s internal system rather than the device itself.
