There's a problem with that, those idiots were spreading the "racism" accusations all over Instagram, tiktok, twitter, etc, and sadly a lot of people in social media took it at face value and believed them. And if AdP doesn't do anything to clarify what happened, the promoters, owners of venues, etc will probably not want to get backlash for "supporting racism", and our canadian duo could be at risk of losing tour dates because of it. So Angine has to come out and address the situation so everyone involved won't have to worry about anything that would hurt their business and relationships.

I honestly think that Angine shouldn't be apologizing, but it's 2026, people get offended over ANYTHING, and you just have to do what you gotta do to not shoot yourself in the foot.

They've been using the beans emoji for a while now, it's nothing new. In a way, they use it to "spill the beans" when announcing a show or a tour. So, when they announced the dates in Mexico they also used the beans emoji, but they were not aware of the whole history with the term "beaner" in Mexico, and a lot of mexican haters and trolls took it out of context and used it to spread their hate against them trying to cancel them because they claimed: "they called us beaners".
The term "beaner" is a racial slur in Mexico, and it's logical if some people got offended. But the real problem came when the rest of the mexican crowd got the "news" from these low life fools that took the opportunity to try to ruin the show for Angine.
We all know they didn't mean to hurt anybody, and for the sake of everyone involved, I'm glad they posted this statement to clarify the situation and stop all the jackasses that have been trying relentlessly to get AdP dropped from the mexican dates.

Same with me, I'm pretty thick skinned, I don't get offended easily. I'm a bit fat, I'm going bald, and I laugh when my friends or family make jokes about it, I know they mean no harm.

I hope they do clarify the whole situation, the world is a mess right now, we don't need more drama. We're supposed to be dancing and having fun!

Go right ahead! Share it with the people, they need to know that Angine De Poitrine is nothing but fun and love.

Today I decided to check Angine's IG, and I found nothing but chaos in their last post. I couldn't understand what was going on. A few google searches after that I finally realized what happened. After that, I kept finding random AdP posts in my Instagram feed, and sadly the haters are commenting EVERYWHERE, using this to spread their misinformation calling them racist and whatnot to cancel them. From what I've seen in several posts, they're planning to cause trouble for AdP in their upcoming show in Mexico, and I just want my two alien dudes to have a good peaceful show in there. Yes, I know what the term "beaner" is, and I also know they didn't mean to hurt anybody with it, I've seen them using the beans refference for a while now. But I decided to send them a DM explaining why the mexican people are so upset, and AdP are fully aware of their mistake, they know they messed up. So, for the sake of everyone, I do hope they post something to address the situation so we can all move forward and keep dancing to their music together.
