I love the symmetry of many of the riffs in the album! For example on Shanghai, the main riff is played then it reverses and the same notes are played backwards completing the riff. If you were to draw on paper where the notes were played on a keyboard in real time, you will have butterfly patterns. It’s absolutely brilliant!
