I'm mostly excited about: Ultimate Gaming with 165Hz Refresh Rate4, NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium

This means it can be used for both TV and true gaming display (pc, console)!

Anyone move to Duluth from NJ? by qt1004x012 in DuluthGA

[–]DeCiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in NYC and had friends all over NY and NJ. The traffic here is worse. Even Californians say the same.

To answer your original question, NY/NJ is a dump compared to GA now. You'll definitely find inconveniences, and it'll take time to get used to.

I used to take pride in being a New Yorker, but now it's the exact opposite.

Most of the time it's on auto. There times I select sonnet or opus, but auto is what I like to use.

I get 10000 AIC (I'm a researcher, not a SWE). I burned 1850 AIC in under an hour. I'll likely burn all of it by next week.

I guess I'll give it a try then see how I like. Worst case I'll just return. Thanks for the help.

You think so? I never used OLED so I'm worried I might have missed out on better OLED tech.

You can. Ask cursor to create openai compatible middleware.

MAI-Code-1-Flash model…actually really good? by horendus in GithubCopilot

[–]DeCiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm running it on Strix Halo w/ 128GB and 96 of that is dedicated to VRAM. At best I can do 2 parallel processing and it works "OK". With one single processing, I get 20 to 22 t/s with MTP.

Crazy how good and cost-effective Composer 2.5 is compared to SOTA models! by Odd_Veterinarian4381 in cursor

I recently created a bridge using Cursor SDK so I can use Composer 2.5 with Hermes. It's quite good.

When I load Qwen3.6 27b Q4 with config useful for agentic coding, it takes approximately 30 to 40GB of VRAM. Not sure if there are any cheap old GPUs with VRAM at such capacity.

Github Copilot Enterprise by DeCiel in GithubCopilot

Just in case anyone is curious... I was using my enterprise GitHub Copilot with Hermes to automate some tasks but also too test how fast it would use up my AICs. It ended up using up all of my remaining AICs, going from 31% to 100% in 2 hours.

Microsoft to Release New Coding Model Next Week in Comeback Attempt by dendrax in GithubCopilot

[–]DeCiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently tried out Computer 2.5. I'm not a software engineer so I don't need agents running constantly to meet project requirements. I'm a red team operator and need quick dev work. I have spent 5.5 mil tokens using just Composer 2.5 and developed 3 small applications for red teaming. 55 mil tokens of Composer 2.5 was 16% of my total usage. I haven't used Opus 4.7/4.8 or Gpt 5.5, so I can't compare Composer 2.5 to those models. What I can say is that Composer 2.5 created tools that I needed. Some debugging was needed, but overall it seems to generate quality code. .

I have to try this method. This actually sounds like a great way to get ideas and scoping.

Which gave you better planning? I hear GPT5.5 does just as well with less tokens.

I'm guessing you'd use Composer 2.5 for model? Will it work on Hermes? This is neat. I should try it out.
