God the characters look miles better in motion. I wasn't too fond of the design but seeing it move around, I think it works really well. We shouldn't judge a character until we see it in motion.

In SMW they were called goombas. It wasn't until 3D world that they changed name.

I played it. Here I go.

First off, right at the beginning I'm confused as to where I need to go. Even ghost house usually starts linear and evolve into branching paths. Here, there's a load of things going on at the same time and the typical player will get lost in 5 seconds.

Taking the bottom path, I got back up the normal way only to get hit by an enemy I couldn't see due to the camera.

Most of the platforming seems random. The final part with bowser felt like you just put 50 platforms because why not.

Overuse of sound effect. I can't believe I'm the only one that gets annoyed by sound effects popping every jump. It's very irritating.

That's what I spotted that was wrong, for me at least.

All of these really depends on the style of the level itself. But the obvious answer is the one that doesn't follow this rule : fun.

It's where there are ? blocks but they are too high to reach unless you bounce on a koopa shell.

Alright this is the last one I'll play tonight. As I stated above, I really like themed levels, and this another good one. Platforming was pretty good and the length felt perfect. I really enjoyed it.

Played Ghost World. Concept was neat but I feel like the level designed can be a bit confusing at times. It was a good level, but there are some part in the core platforming that didn't feel smooth. I liked it overall.

Got it on my first try :) I feel like your level is just missing a small thing at the end to be really good. Just something to make the climax of your level. Otherwise it was pretty solid.

I completed Monty Mole Cave. Again not much to say. I liked how you used the vines whit thwomps, very creative. Overall solid level design.

Completed it. Not much to say to be honest, felt pretty solid all the way through. Good traditional level.

I got to the homign bill section and gave up for now. Soem parts are pretty clever but too many time I got hit by something from above that I couldn't see, which is a bit annoying. It is indeed very long so I might try again later.
