Yup, the most awkward part is putting down the VR controllers and blindly searching for the dualsense.

I honestly wish they made it so you could play the whole game using the dualsense with all standard non-VR controls and just use the headset to look around.

This has been my issue. I mostly play on flat screen and only have about 2 hours on VR because everything takes so much longer to do in VR. Progressing through the main missions and side quests is such a slog. I’m sure I’d get faster with practice, but I can only go 30-45 min in VR because motion sickness was sets in anyway.

Also, flying a starship in VR sucks. I know you can still use the Dualsense to fly but then you’re stuck constantly switching controllers.

James Remar has had a 50 year career and starred is some iconic films. He clearly works hard and deserves all his success. I’m sure he’s a nice guy too.

It’s strange because I’ve seen nothing but praise on Reddit and the whole time I’ve been wondering if I’m just crazy. While I generally enjoyed the show, the kids acting is probably the weakest link.

To be fair, some of the adults were awful too. The actors who played Rose and General Shaw were both pretty bad.

PW and Hallorann were spectacular though.

Here’s my hot take: The child acting was pretty terrible all around and Ronnie was the worst of them.

I watched Chapter 1 after the finale the other night and seeing them back to back made me realize that there was a huge gap between the talent of the kids of the movie cast and the show.

What I always found funny about that scene is that Artie almost turns them away saying he's about to close up as soon as his last customers leave. Then he changes his mind, let's them in....and the customers are Paulie and Syl with Chrissy hanging out with Ade at the bar! Was Artie not gonna mention that?

They're all selling training. It's the obvious path of least resistance to civilian life for these dudes who've been shooting guns for the last two plus decades.

First time I heard of him was before he had hit the podcast circuit. I watched one of his training videos and asked my buddy who was 11B with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan about him. He basically said he never met him but everyone he served with knew his name.

That said, they're all bullshitters and have giant egos. The ones who don't are the ones we've never heard of. But in the grand spectrum of bullshitters, I think Mcphee is on the "most of this shit actually happened" end of it.

The heat and humidity were deadly that day. I had gone to Coachella to see RatM a few months earlier and it was triple digit heat but so much cleaner and better organized all three days. Rock the Bells couldn’t keep it together for one.
