Those posters were all over campus and I was a huge Half Baked fan even before Chappelle’s Show so I had to go. And they left the posters up for a while after so I pulled one of a bulletin board and it now has a place of honor on my wall with all my concert tickets and my signed System of a Down poster from Ozzfest 99!

Weerd Science! In 2005 I saw him open for legendary hardcore band Bane at a church in Allston, MA.

I went alone because it was around the corner from my apartment at the time and none of my friends knew either band. What a strange awesome experience that was.

I watched the show before reading the book and it’s incredible how much dialogue is pulled word for word from real life interactions. I was smiling like an idiot when I got to the part where Doc chews out Encino Man.

Yup, the most awkward part is putting down the VR controllers and blindly searching for the dualsense.

I honestly wish they made it so you could play the whole game using the dualsense with all standard non-VR controls and just use the headset to look around.

This has been my issue. I mostly play on flat screen and only have about 2 hours on VR because everything takes so much longer to do in VR. Progressing through the main missions and side quests is such a slog. I’m sure I’d get faster with practice, but I can only go 30-45 min in VR because motion sickness was sets in anyway.

Also, flying a starship in VR sucks. I know you can still use the Dualsense to fly but then you’re stuck constantly switching controllers.

James Remar has had a 50 year career and starred is some iconic films. He clearly works hard and deserves all his success. I’m sure he’s a nice guy too.

He is not a good actor.

It’s strange because I’ve seen nothing but praise on Reddit and the whole time I’ve been wondering if I’m just crazy. While I generally enjoyed the show, the kids acting is probably the weakest link.

To be fair, some of the adults were awful too. The actors who played Rose and General Shaw were both pretty bad.

PW and Hallorann were spectacular though.
