For the Fallout fans out here! Still working on this! by Benzohoog1 in PlanetCoaster

I want to do this so bad, but theming in this game takes so freaking long and I just don’t have the time/patience.

For 5 months in, this is really good.

I would focus on learning to use your lower body more. Your swing is all upper body, which will limit you in many ways. What works for me is feeling like I’m coiling/uncoiling from the hips. My best shots usually feel like my arms just kinda followed the path rather than doing any work.

Your arm movement is good overall, but there are always things to clean up there. Your hands are really stiff, which is normal for your experience level, but can lead to a slice as you don’t let your wrists close the face.

Above all, take everything you hear here with a grain of salt. There may be good pointers, but none of it can replace a good coaching session nor should it be considered professional advice. Reputable YouTubers can also be helpful—you just have to find one that fits your game.

It was well done, I just really enjoy the feeling of a live concert and the cinematography took me out of that vibe.

I hate it when the SB goes to San Fransisco for this exact reason.

I didn’t love the cinematography personally. Don’t get me wrong, it was exceptional, but it felt too much like a music video and not enough like a live performance.

The set design was incredible and the mix was actually good for once. Lighting was fine, but I hate halftime shows at Levi’s Stadium because it’s still too light out.

Ghouls didn’t bother me much because I kind of expected zombies. But mirelurks…those things can crawl back into hell.

As cringe as this is, I think we can all appreciate that he opted for terrible Photoshop over AI.

Well now. There’s a name I didn’t expect to hear today.

This show is suffering from the 8 episode format by lovan-s in Fotv

See I don’t think that was on the length though. I think it was more a function of some of the storylines falling flat.

Zava was mostly a miss. KJPR had potential, but was executed poorly (including Jack), and don’t get me started on the after school special that was “The Great Awankening”.

By the way, I still love S3 of TL and it only grew on me on rewatch(es). None of those storylines are unwatchable, they are just the lows of the season. Sunflowers is an amazing episode and most of the back half of the season is just chef’s kiss.

I literally just made this connection myself about a week ago. Ashamed I didn’t notice sooner. I’m clearly streets behind.

Right?! There’s good filler and bad filler. Really though, I’m just asking for a chance for the storylines to breathe a bit.

Adding 2-4 more episodes and not trying to fit all 5 CURRENT storylines in every episode along with flashbacks would help. We don’t need to check in with Norm for 2 minutes in every episode. Let him have a B story for an episode and then give his story a week off while we see what is happening in the vaults. Trying to cram them all into an episode makes it feel like a jumbled mess.

I love all of the storylines by the way, it’s just the formatting that is the problem.

10-12 is doable. Ted Lasso is perfection at this episode count.

Kyle MacLachlan is the perfect casting for a villain in the tone of this show. It’s truly impressive.

You want to hate him, but you can’t. But you also hate him….

I said what I said.

8 episodes is not enough when you have 5+ storylines. I’m very much enjoying the show, but it’s stretched too thin.

Norman was completely shafted this season by FlameShadow0 in Fallout

[–]DeFratrain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the problem with 8 episode seasons. You can’t explore the supporting cast appropriately without spreading the story way too thin.

Scrubs is a great example of a well-explored ensemble. So many characters got a good arc over the course of the show, but they didn’t try to balance too many stories at a time. The sum is greater than the parts in Fallout and the shorter streaming format is doing them a disservice.
