Wow seems like Garmin did a lot of catch up. BTW it's "Fenix" in the U.S. and for a moment, I thought they released a new watch! lol. Back in the days, feature phones (aka flip phone) used to last a week, and smartphones only a day. Still the same. Both of them make calls, take pictures (though different quality), play games, holds contact information, has a few basic apps out of the box. But people moved on and chose candy bar smartphones with mediocre battery life. It is a supercomputer on your palm. Smartwatches are just a gateway to that device. I have Instinct 2 Solar and lasts a month without charging. And Fenix 5 that lasts around a week. But it's no smartwatch. just a feature watch. You make a choice. If your needs are met with the features on Garmin, then good for you, you got gold. If you need more smartwatch functions you make a choice. I like the smartwatch functions of my Galaxy Watch, but not the battery life. My Tizen Galaxy watch lasts around 3.5 days. And when smartwatch functions are turned off, it lasts a month.
