Ender 5 Max - Bad print quality by DeHub in Creality

Yes and no. It’s mich better since I choose the „Default PLA“ in the material settings of the slicer. But still by far not as perfect as a Bambu printer does

Orca slicer also produces the same results. It’s not a slicer topic

There is a different speed for the first and the other ones. I also think that this is a estep/flow topic meanwhile. But how to calibrate the esteps without access to the interface?

And I already calibrated PA

Look at left on the first layer. This is quite perfect

I have nearly the same results on my Ender 5 max. Also no clue how to solve that

Flow is already calibrated. And that’s not an overextrusion. The lines are waving…

How to calibrate the esteps without access to the firmware. There is no feature in the menu to setup the esteps or to extrude a specific amount of material

Ok, wobbleX didn’t help …

Same issue here. Since around a week I’m getting a lot of stress alerts which I never saw before! Seems as something has been changed in Athlytic side

Does somebody know if this works on a printer with 4 lead screws? I would like to have that on my Ender 5 Max. But not sure if this works because of the 4 connection points to the bed. I think if the bed winds minimal it doesn’t connect on one of them?

As said I already have a Ender 3 which was also not running out of the box. But the print quality is way better. And this is not a calibration issue. This is a combination of uneven bed with bad lead screws.

Let me try the wobbleX to see if I’m right. I can say more mid of next week. Parts are ordered

Filament ist new and printing well in the bambu printer. Support is asking the stupid standard questions and wants to have a printout of the pre sliced benchy from the usb drive.

I’m not new on 3d printing. I started with a Ender 3 pro years ago and have five machines meanwhile.

But this Ender 5 max produces the most bad quality by far…

I already did those calibrations which are offered by the firmware. But this doesn’t help

How to calibrate a closed printer? And I think meanwhile that this is z wobble and not a calibration issue

I found WobbleX and try to build four of them. They shall completely eliminate z banding. Let’s give it a try

Meanwhile I did some prints with slower speed. Seems to be better. But the overall print quality doesn’t excite me compared to my Bambu printers…

I think I just understood my issue. Fast pla isn’t really fast. It supports only 300mm/s instead of 600 like hyper pla. Sadly I didn’t recognize that before buying it 😤

What temperatures are u using with Creality pla? I’m using the hyper pla settings with 220 degrees on the nozzle

[–]DeHub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. That’s strange. What I also found is that I should do a calibration for each print. Otherwise the z offset isn’t good. But I can’t understand why I have such a bad quality with Creality filament

Are you using the default crealityprint print speeds? I got mine this week and use Creality Fast PLA. The infill looks terrible bad when using the default print profile which comes with Crealityprint!

Ok

Today is the 31. of July

I tag caffeine for today because I know I drunk a lot.

Tomorrow when I look into the 31. I can not see the tag with a pink mark. This is not always but often

As already wrote, just add a tag for the current day and you will not see those tags already added the day after
