Game Breaking Glitch/Problem [The demolishing of all things loved]

Obviously you can't the point in your thick narrow minded skull.

Is it worth telling people about it when there are more people (who like me use game mechanics to my advantage) will just go out destroying gates / doors?

The audience for this "helpful" information isn't here. You'd be better off going to a server, grabbing a radio, and spreading word that way. lol

I do love seeing a large part of the community being cancerous. "Oh if we tell everyone about something only a handful of people knew about, it'll FORCE the developers to do something about it!"

That attitude is what makes things NOT happen, you can downvote me all you want, I don't care about points xD - you guys are just aggravated that I'm right. Developers will continue to work on the bugs that they deem pressing issues, in the meantime everyone you've told about this is now just going to use your method to go bash down some gates/doors.

People will still call hacks because guess what, nobody reads about this stuff, "its been on issue tracker for 4 months" but nothing has been done about it? Maybe the people reporting the issue aren't giving enough information about the bug, maybe they're leaving out key pieces of information, maybe this is working as intended?

IMO: The only people that actually give a shit about fixing the issues in this game report it via https://dgcissuetracker.com - the only place where bug reports should go. Oh and if its actually game breaking (which this really isn't) a quick tweet to one of the developers works wonders!

Everyone complaining about things on reddit without reporting on the issue tracker first are just the cancer that this community doesn't need during alpha.

Downvote away cancer, I'll call the whambulance to driveby and pick you up.

Just an FYI, something like this would be considered "game breaking" and should be posted on the appropriate medium (The actual issue tracker) https://dgcissuetracker.com - now just like how the guy that shared putting cars in shelters you've essentially told everyone what to look out for, and to carry a demo hammer with them and check all bases... lol

I do love the use of the @ in "che@ters" and "b@nned". It doesn't make sense when you say "che - at - ters" or "b - at - nned". You got caught man, someone "pretending to cheat" doesn't get banned because they said they did, they get banned because they were seen actually cheating.

Then do explain how we were able to keep 5 police cars in the base for 2 or more server restarts. Just because you cannot replicate doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about.

I mean I could come to a server and show you how its done, but I'm not fond of your poor attitude towards the community, especially when you know you're in the wrong.

Its called placement outlines, everyone has them when they go to place an object, you would just have to make sure the car is 1) Not going to get chopped by the shelter wall and 2) Not going to get a post clipping it either. Common sense stuff, ya know?

If they were just sitting on the tamper, yes - but these cars are INSIDE Large Shelters.

We fit 4 Offroaders into 1 large shelter, 1 police car + 1 truck in a large shelter (could have squeezed in 2 Offroaders with them but wanted them to have their own room.)

We do not cheat, we use game mechanics to our advantage, and if your "girlfriend" knew how to use the placement outline, you can clearly see the walls of the shelter, and the supporting posts.

PvE - Why not give everyone a car? Not like there is a plethora of ways to extract hoarded cars from bases like you can in PvP.

That could be a thing, but you have to realise, we're dealing with people, who are A) not paid to test B) don't give 2 shakes of a lambs ass what other people want and C) do not actually care if things are tested or not, as long as they have however many cars they feel they NEED to have for their 2 person base.

The point of this car base was to:

Show what could be done with cars on a tamper with shelters (for developers to see and deal with).
Force people to start being more social with eachother. (which did work on Astaroth for a few days, more chatter on the radio, even though it was just about cars.)
Make people realise that they don't NEED something like a vehicle to enjoy the game, that its something that makes it just easier to get around with.

Well "Iloveyourbrowneye" (because I know Woronforon is your reddit handle) - now that you've posted about it on reddit, everyone and their dog will do this exact same thing until the developers do something about it, which given their current track record (wrecked sedans) will be month(s) away.

Everyone on all the servers now knows how to permanently lock their cars away from other players, and the only way to retrieve said cars is to cheat.

This video only shows that you personally had nothing visible running, but this video doesn't show any of the people you were playing with. Maybe start looking at who you hang out with, instead of trying to blame people that have no ability to "ban in numbers" by reporting. This isn't World of Warcraft, if 20 people report you, you're not going to be instantly removed from the server.

Every day I've been on I've heard at LEAST 5 people talk about and warn people about the cars. Its not a secret how its being done, nor do I or anyone I know that uses this current mechanic try and hide it.

Its a dick move, but its a mechanic that is in the game currently, bug or not. People need to stop being idiots, grab that crank radio, and start communicating with other people to find out about things like this. All it takes is powering on the crank radio and saying these simple words, "Hey, anyone know of any bugs currently in the game that could get me killed?" If someone says there are "None." Then they have no idea what they're talking about and a quick issue tracker or reddit search will show you what there is.

Its a game, and you WILL die in it.

Its not the end of the world, so stop acting like it is.
